I was suprised that West Ham won tbh, they had a horrible season in the PL but strangly enough doing well in the Conference League and AZ started strong this season and had everything in hand but the last 2 months near the end of the season lost the battle in the top vs the big teams in the Eredivisie and now losing against West Ham in the semi finales Conference League.
Grats West Ham, you did something nobody expected. 👏🏼
West Ham was clear favorite in advance to win this tie, they are premier league club after all. You can tell AZ plays decent football but they lack quality against international defenders like Zuma who are on another level then the defenders in the dutch league. And Paqueta was also showing his class, which you should expect from a Brazilian midfielder who played in the world cup squad.
Its because even the weaker teams in the premier league can easily beat the "big" teams in other european leagues, shows how much better the prem is

great video. I just have one thing to say. You say that English fans are bad, and I agree for most premier league clubs, however teams like west ham and leeds as well as teams in the lower leagues have great fans and fill the stadium and create an atmosphere every game.

Fair comment, but west ham atmosphere at home is simply nothing compared to European clubs.

Fantastic video mate, real shame about the fans. Last week in London the AZ fans were very well behaved and very much unlike the Frankfurt fans from last year. You can always rely on random idiots spoiling the occasion though.
They were very well behaved and AZ hasn't really gotten into incidents like this before.. but, even though I'm biased because I'm an AZ supporter myself, I knew this was going to happen. The AZ ultras were PISSED(!!!!!) after what happened in London the week before and in the Afternoon in Alkmaar where they got attacked AGAIN. Everyone was talking about revenge and that's not likely to happen again with any other club, not even our rivals. In my opinion this hadn't happened if the West Ham fans behaved themselves and treated us with the respect we had for you guys when we visited London
