Here another great adventure aboard the Monte Carlo out of 22st Landing. And as you can see the Bass bite was active. With a mix of Calicos and Sandies to fill the bag. Im heading out on the monte carlo weekend! Do you have any advice on what set up and what rig you use? Are the fish on the bottom or top?

The calicos were mid water column. We were using 2 set up. First set up was on a heavy rod, 20lb test on a dropper loop with live bait. Second set up was light bass rod, 15lb test with a 28 gram colt snipper. Both should work well. Hope this info help. Best of luck🎣🤙🏽

The only fish they usually go for is rockfish and they just bite on bait so no need for a rig, and all the fish are below 300 feet because of new regulations

You need to fish on top of the boat because if you fish in the bottom you will drown.
