Just bought a Hayabusa with an LEDGlow kit already installed. Didn't know until I searched for a product for my other motorcycles. I must say these kits are just plain awesome. Whoever installed the kit I have did an AMAZING job. You can't even see the LEDs, but if you look at my video you can see the kit at work. It's amazing. WELL SPENT $100!!! I'm VERY impressed, guys.
DeuceMan Dan Just checked out the video and the lights look really great! Glad you're happy with them! Send us some photos to our Facebook and Instagram pages!
i had one of these kits. I loved it! To bad i had to be a adult and sell the bike to pay med bills... well i just got a new bike. will have to invest in another kit in the future. Nice simple guide btw!
shegotlockjaw Glad to hear you're back riding! Let me know if I can help with anything when you're ready to install a kit to the new bike! Thanks for the compliments!
Wow! that is a ton of wires connected to the controller! I can't imagine running so many wires from so many mounting points! It does look sexy! I might try a few connected to my brakes for safety!
Awesome video….very detailed, the best install I've seen. Happy it was a video made in 2014 and not from 3-4 years ago…..Looking to purchase my very first set. thank you
gcoulanges Glad you enjoyed the install video! If you have any questions during your install don't hesitate to contact us for anything. Thank you for the compliments, we really appreciate it!
Just a little bit of advise for future questions... If any part of your bike is powder-coated, like my frame and fenders are on my 2001 Yamaha custom roadstar 1800, you have to use gorilla glue or the the led light strips will not stay attached to the powder coated parts. Otherwise, I installed the 10 piece with the 4 piece I already had installed and it's all-together awesome with the beat-feature of my 6 speaker stereo system... My buddy has similar lights on his bike, that were a lot more expesive, and he kicks himself every time we go riding and he sees my lights... He paid about 200 for his, and doesn't even have the beat feature, and his lights are no where near as bright as mine, and he only has 6 colors... For the cost, this deal is the best out there!!!!
I have a question, I really want the 12pc. kit but I do not know if I need the wire extensions, if they come with wires, and or if I need to buy the wires when I order the kit. I want to mount them in the same spot as the video aswell. I have a 2014 Harley Davidson Xl1200 Seventy Two. Thank and hope to hear from you guys soon!!
+MrEvilman96 Thanks for the interest in our product! Most of our kits come with enough wiring for installing the kits on standard bikes. However, if you still are unsure, I would speak with our technical staff for more information. You can call in at 856-768-5700, or send them an e-mail at: techsupport@ledglow.com
just a quick tip I have these ones and they drain your battery unless you connect the power wire into the headlight wire and the ground to a common ground or the head light ground
Pretty. Awesome. I'm more interested in the bright advance light though but I can't get a custom kit for kit. There's a custom kit for the million color, but I just want two different solid colors. Which is only available for the classic options. Might get it and hope it looks nice and bright.
Chris Carter The best option for you to go with if you want two different solid colors is our Custom Classic Single Color Motorcycle Lighting Kit and selecting the Dual Zone Control Box w/ Remote. The Dual Zone Control Box allows two different lighting patterns to be running on two different sections of your bike and you can have as many different colors as you want!
LEDGlow wish I knew about that. I just got the standard remote. I take it that both color will not run with the regular remote right? That kinda sucks for me. Can I send it back? Hadn't installed them on the bike yet.
Chris Carter Which motorcycle kit did you end up ordering? If it hasn't been installed yet you can definitely send it back for a different kit. You can give our customer service department a call at 877-LED-GLOW and one of our reps will be able to take care of you! If you have any questions about any of our kits don't hesitate to ask!
LEDGlow I bought the custom classic light kit with standard remote. I got white and red. So if I hook it up with the current remote, one of the lights won't turn on?
Chris Carter The red and white lights you purchased will function off the one remote and control box so you won't have any issues with one color turning on and the other not turning on. They will just feature identical patterns whether it's a solid illumination mode or flashing and fading modes because they are connected to the same control box. The thing with dual zone control box is that for example, you can have the white lights perform a flashing pattern and the red lights on a solid illumination mode simultaneously. That's the only difference between the dual zone control box and the standard control box that you currently have. Does this help answer your question?
Here's my tip... use something other than the double sided sticky tape to mount the strips.. no matter how good you clean your bike with prep pads, and adhesion promoters the lights will end up falling off in no time.. no double sided sticky tape on the market is going to hold any strips to any surface for very long, especially in hot/cold/wet temperatures ..plus you add in the fact of the vibration from the road and the bike itself it makes it that much likely for the lights to come off.. led companies need to step there games up An come up with a lot better mounting solutions.. yes they have brackets on the market but they don't work well on bikes, than you have the zip tie option which doesn't do well on anything on the outside of a vehicle ,especially a bike because once the tape fails and zip ties are in place you end up with drooping led strips .. I've been installing leds on cars/trucks/bikes/boats etc professionally for years an I have tried all kinds of different methods an epoxys seem to work best , but still not good for a bike since it's messy An can be visible , plus you putting the epoxy on your paint/chrome An it's very hard to clean up.
One more thing, in the future, it would be great if the kit came with plastic plugs to place in the end of the light strip if/when you are not connecting another extension wire or light strip. It would be much more convenient that electrical tape or the heat sleeves... just a thought... thnx...jlg...
Can I choose how many strips I want to use in the zones? For example,....if I wanted 4 strips for zone 1 and 8 strips for zone 2 can I do that or if I wanted 2 strips for zone 1 and 10 strips for zone 2 can I do that?
Hi and thanks for the video tutorial but I have a quick question I brought the LED lights installed them it worked fine although the next night I press the on and off button on and my lights didn't come on I only use them once and there still new out of the package any suggestions of why it's not coming on?
How to I connect the power to battery without it killing my battery ??? I connected it same way you did in t he video and I came out the next morning and my battery was dead ?? Any suggestions ??
that's the fuse that goes in the black male female on the cable. I lost that on my bike. haven't been able to turn on lights sense then. I think this will help @@ledglow

Hi Nick, we do not have a video currently made showing how to connect the brake feature wire. This feature is currently only available with our smartphone motorcycle kit. However, if you do have the smartphone motorcycle kit, to use this function install the wire from the control box into the motorcycle's brake signal wires. Also, don't forget that each purchase has free lifetime technical support. Cheers, LEDGlow Team

Hallo nice video, thank you, but unspecified where to connect the blue wire?
Blue wire is the antenna for the remotes and does not get connected to anything.
I notice you never mentioned that white wier that in that kit
It's the antenna for the wireless remote. Does not get connected to anything.
Is there any way u can install under front wheel fender safely and Securely

Add a kill switch between the control box and the battery. If the kit is turned off, it should not drain the battery that quickly.

What about the wire for the break so that when you press on the break all your lights turn red? Does it connect to the positive or negative?
The wire for the brake feature needs to be connected to the 12v power wire that runs to your brake lights.
Is there a video for that or are we on our own for that?
Hi Nick, we do not have a video currently made showing how to connect the brake feature wire. This feature is currently only available with our smartphone motorcycle kit. So the brake wire is the white one ?
The white wire is strictly an antenna wire which does not get connected to anything. This particular kit does not get connected to the brake lights.

It looks like you can have the lights in Washington. You can’t have them on while riding.
I have bought the LED lights, however I have no idea on how to connect the small black and red wire to the battery. Any suggestion?
Attached a ring terminal to the end of each wire and connect it to the bolt on the battery terminals.
Hay bro I put the same lights on mine but for some reason they started to come on by them self and would kill my battery and when turned on it stayed on red and know don't even turn on what the problem do u know let me know please
Double check the power wire connection to make sure it is a solid connection and that it is connected to the correct voltage.
What is white wire ?Is it like antenna for the Remote?
Hi Dawn Greathouse, you are correct, the white wire is an antenna wire. Cheers, LEDGlow Team
if your wire doesnt reach ur battery from where you mounted your light what can u do?...
You can extend the power and/or ground wire using 18-20 gauge wiring.
Stupid question here. Will these lights work on a 150cc 4 stroke scooter?
As long as the lights can be wired to a 12v power source, yes. they are pretty much universal.
i hook mine back up to my bike and when i did thay wont cut off thay change moshing and colors but wont cut off what do you think is wrong
