Btw, please consider writing/publishing a more expanded and separate book for this deck, as it almost demands it, as there is so much here, and the small booklet, although well done for its size, is not enough….,thank you. I have always loved this deck, but hated that it came in only a small tuck box with a very brief booklet. The art is so beautiful and this deck has so much more potential to be so much more than this.
Oh wow! I’ve had this deck for so many years now and some of this I didn’t know at all 😂. I guess I’d made up my own stories. Thanks for this! Side note: I’ve always been so impressed by how much you fit into that little guidebook. 😅 I just bought another deck with a guidebook you wrote just this year. I’m excited to dive into it but the year has gotten away from me. This has inspired me to dig it out right now! I want to say it’s called Eastern Ink Tarot.
The Justice card is actually disturbing and freaky looking to me. It reminds me of “Nurse Ratchet” in “One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest”, or the woman in “Misery”! The “Hanged Man” reminds me of “Reverend Trask”, who was bricked up behind a wall in the basement of the Old House by Barnabas Collins, the (mostly) Vampire, in “Dark Shadows”, the 60s/70s tv series!
💜💜💜 I got this deck two years ago and haven't put it down since. It's my main working deck and I absolutely love it. Thank you so much for these videos to give more insights into the cards. 💜💜💜
@@sashagrahamtarotdiva9578 The card I am most curious about is the Ace of Swords and the story behind it. And I absolutely adore the Queen and King of Swords.
I am so excited about these videos! Thanks so much for creating them. I am planning on working with this deck during October and did a first spread yesterday (before learning about your video series). I am newish to tarot an was worried that I was going to struggle to understand the meanings. You've really unlocked the major arcana. I am a fan of gothic novels too. I have read many of Victoria Holt's books.
This deck is beautiful. I wish there was your words in a guide. I don’t remember well and watching a video everytime I pull it out isn’t very convenient. I’ve spent so much time looking online for some kind of guidebook 😿
The “fool” card never made sense to me. The card is beautiful, but why would the fool be running away? That would seem to be the end of Raven’s story; not the beginning. As in trad “Fool” cards, I thought it would make more sense to have her walking towards the house, because she wants the experience and is curious, but doesn’t exactly know what she is/will be walking into….then the adventure begins, and continues, as she meets various characters and has various experiences…..
Tarot of the Haunted House is based on the art and sytle of Gothic Romance novels of the 60's and 70's which always had a woman fleeing from a castle in their covers, that's why she's scared in the Fool but "knows" herself and owns the haunted house by the World.
so is this the after life? did raven die and that's when the story kind of begins ? and the major arcana are the trials and tribulations she wnt through to kind of live her own nirvana?
Hi! Yes, pages are represented by helmets and the characters are sitting down whereas knights are represented by horses and the characters are standing up

Oh, perfect! Love how the videos aligned with your October plan. The suit of Cups is coming next!

My pleasure! The Cups are coming next!

Yes, that is why I made the video - there is no detailed guidebook just the lwb which comes with the deck.

That's a fabulous interpretation!!
Are the ‘Knights’ represented on the cards by the horse-head 🐴 and is the ‘Page’ the helmet or do I have it backwards? I don’t have the guidebook 😢
Hi! Yes, pages are represented by helmets and the characters are sitting down whereas knights are represented by horses and the characters are standing up
Last Comment: have you noticed how much the Raven character looks like you? 😊
Ha! I wish :D Who doesn't need a slinky gown and gothic castle?!
