I just got this pack and I love your explanations! I'm not sure if I missed it, but why did you pick Angels, Witches, Demons, and Vampires to be the royals in the suits? I listened to the first couple videos on this deck, and your explanation of the major arcana and the story of raven was so interesting and well-crafted, I had to buy the deck. I love it. Thank you! I'm looking forward to the rest of the videos about this deck! :)

I love how you have the people from the court cards appear in other cards as well and the connections to the tree of life. And I've always wondered about the creatures in the 5. So based on the dress I would have thought that the woman in the 8 and 3 are the same, are they not?
Thank you so much for the videos. I got the deck when it came out but was always tripping on some of the cards where the meaning was not obvious and somehow I felt blocked. This series has helped me a lot to bond. Meanwhile, I am still unclear about the meaning for the two of pents - apart from the Kabbalistic meaning of Chokma being duality being made conscious (and the reader standing in for Binah which manifests at the same time?) I am still struggling to connect any of the non-esoteric meanings to the imagery. Do you have any more pointers? Thanks ever so much 😃
Yes! An easy way to look at the twins in this card is to understand that a 2 in tarot (of any suit) reflects duality. You have gone from being "alone" and entered into relationship with something, someone, an energy, a "thing." The energy is specific and contained - twins offer a perfect metaphor for this idea because although identical twins appear alike - they are distinctly different individuals. There is also an intimacy about the energy of 2 - like the intimacy of twins. Additionally - with the suit of pentacles - pentacles often reflect bodies, and the molecles and dna that make our physical forms - so once again - we look at issues of what we are made of in the two of pentacles and once again - the symbol of twins - genetically identical - work perfectly.
