Nostalgia - fan veil | Aline Mesquita Dança do Ventre | Porto Alegre - RS

Apresentação solo de dança do ventre moderna com fan veil (véu leque) da bailarina Aline Mesquita com a coreografia para a música Baladi Nostalgia, de Ilahun Ballet Orquestra. A performance aconteceu no evento Dançando Sentimentos VIII, realizado pela bailarina Ana Aziza, no teatro da Cia de Arte em Porto Alegre - RS.
A proposta do evento era que cada bailarina representasse algum sentimento através de sua coreografia. O sentimento escolhido foi a nostalgia, interpretada com a música cujo título é o próprio sentimento. A música começa com uma melodia tão bela quanto melancólica e lenta; em seu decorrer ela vai progredindo, ganhando novos elementos, energia, complexidade e velocidade. A coreografia acompanha essa progressão, iniciando por movimentos lentos e sinuosos para depois evoluir para os giros e movimentos ágeis do fan veil (véu leque).
O vídeo foi gravado no teatro da Cia de Arte em Porto Alegre - RS, no evento Dançando Sentimentos VIII, em agosto de 2018.

Modern belly dance solo presentation with fan veil by belly dancer Aline Mesquita with the choreography for the song Baladi Nostalgia, by Ilahun Ballet Orquestra. The performance took place at the event Dançando Sentimentos VIII, held by the dancer Ana Aziza, at the theater of Cia de Arte in Porto Alegre - RS.
The purpose of the event was for each dancer to represent some feeling through their choreography. The feeling chosen here was nostalgia, interpreted with the song whose title is the feeling itself. The music begins with a melody as beautiful as it is melancholy and slow; as it progresses, it gains new elements, energy, complexity and speed. The choreography accompanies this progression, starting with slow and sinuous movements and then evolving to the fan veil's swirls and agile movements.
The video was recorded at the Cia de Arte theater in Porto Alegre - RS, at the event Dançando Sentimentos VIII, in August 2018.
