I love how this completely changes the supposed story, making it go from a redemption attempt which led to war, into a battle of resistance against united forces from both realms
I totally agree!! They made the story plot very interesting and I'm excited for season 2!!! That's why I chose resistance from skillet because it reminds me of this show XD
I mean it is also a story about resistance from Heaven and Hell. I mean we know Heaven is against the plan, but we've also seen people like Valentino try to keep Angel Dust from being redeemed, Vox, who's determined to kill Alastor, Alastor who we don't know who his true allegiance belongs too, and Velvette who has made it clear that she'll do whatever she wants to gain power. And you know they aren't the only powerful demons that don't want things to change that will get mad at Charlie and the hotel. Plus, now, we have Lilith to worry about. What's she going to do?

@@captainkirk265 Well, no. We know where Alastor's allegience lies. It's with himself. He's been quite clear on that.😔 I'm not sure about the Vee's. As mere Overlords, they don't pose much of a threat to Lucifer or Charlie, whatever their schemes. They seem more personal antagonist of Carmilla and Zestial than anything else. Lilith is more of a problem. She may betray her family in the name of a place in Paradise. And as second most powerful being in Hell, she had the power and influence to cause problems. The plot-line with Sir Pentious, Emily, and Sera is where things will really be descided.
@@fredfry5100 What I meant with Alastor was, we don't know if Alastor will change his mind. If he'll actually start to care about the others in the hotel. Like when he was talking with Nifty. She's insane, and loyal. So, he'd have no reason to lie to her and he said he was warming up to them. "Mere overlords" they may not be able to fight one on one with Lucifer, but they have a lot of influence and can cause major problems. Especially to the redemption plan. If they can convince their followers that redemption is pointless, it's not like Lucifer can brute strength his way past that. Because if he were to kill them for doing that, then it'd just prove their point and completely ruin the hotel's reputation.
