This was after an excellent and fun interview of Kanami and Miku by Herman. It was from a twitch stream.

Herman auditioned for Lovebites as well during DF UK tour that had LB as openers. If you haven't seen it, they played together as well.

The Maids are tiny. They aren't much more than five feet tall, and they're super petite. In person they look like dolls or something, especially with the dresses and stage makeup. Even MISA is only like 5'5" or so, and she's lanky at that height, kinda looks like a runway model got shrunk.
I always thought it'd be amazing if Band-Maid did a song featuring Herman, or even if he just came on stage at one of their LA shows (I understand he lives in LA?) and performed a song with them. But if it was going to happen, it probably would have by now.

I've always though Misa was about 5'7". Miku and Kanami are itty-bitty. 😂

MISA disclosed her height on Twitter a while back, but since I couldn't remember, I looked up the tweet. She's 167cm tall which is about 5'5 3/4".

Japanese pigeons say, “kurup’po.”KOBATO (小鳩: small pigeon) is a small pigeon, so her sentences end in, “‘po.”
KOBATO and AKANE are putting on their high-pitched, “kawaii” voices here. If you watch videos on their fanclub sites, you’ll hear their natural voices.

I wonder if they managed the latency issue by ensuring that both ends of the call had the same delay on the bass-drum track they were playing along with.
I really appreciate how Herman Li handled it, not just soloing over the whole song. It's Without Holding Back, btw, not sure whether you'd reacted to it before.

I follow Herman on Twitch and, believe I was one of those who were pushing for this. I believe it was one of his most attended streams too. Yup, I was there too! Ofc... I don't believe there was one fan-channel who didn't know about it.

Herman Li is so fun in this and Kanami and Miku are just having a blast! Sam needs a wind machine! Saiki from Band Maid does the vocals on a song for KOHTA YAMAMOTO, who is kind of like a Japanese version of Trent Reznor, except he isn't quite as out there. He is a composer who puts the songs together and has different vocalist sing on them. The song Saiki sings on is called "Tactics" ruclips.net/video/3ZpbwkZyk_Y/видео.html "Ctrl-C" is a great song as well ruclips.net/video/uMqftFP1UCk/видео.html but she does not sing on that one

This is one of the reason I love Miku, her personality is wonderful.
FYI, Herman is in LA, primary residence. The full video was one of my favorites with Miku and Kanami.
Nete, Herman's interview of Saki is one the best interviews she has ever done. It's still on YT.

Latency is not a problem if Band-Maid play the backing track and jam over it and their sound after if arrives to Herman who jams over it, before to goes out to his followers. I just doubt Band-Maid had the sound from Herman turned-up while playing as that will echo back out of sync.

To avoid the latency problem they are probably using Yamaha Syncroom. It is widely used in Japan and South Korea to make music together over the Internet.

Oh...as for the PO! Miku's family name is Kobato. Her Kanji 小鳩 (Kobato) translate to "small pigeon". "Hato" (鳩) which is what translate to pigeon/dove, can also be conceived as 8-10. So Miku does say, along with her fellow band-mates, she's taken on the persona of a 810 yr old small pigeon. Thus Miku often ends most of her sentences with "PO!". "PO!" - Onomatopoeia associated to the sound a pigeon, makes in Japan is "Kuruppo" or "Poppo". "PO!" being the shortened version. PO!🕊

    • @outwest1014

Miku's Real Name is Mika Noguchi!!

    • @BRO-HI808
      @BRO-HI808 12 часов назад

@outwest1014 I do understand that is a possibility. But her stage "family name" and the personna she uses for Band-Maid is Kobato, which relates to the topic of the "PO!". I also say it's a possibility, as I haven't seen anything that says Noguchi is 100% her real name and not just another name created for the idol circuit. Just have fun and go with it my fellow Maidiac. Or soon you will be telling Miku, not only she's not a 810 year old Pigeon, but Miku day doesn't exist either. Which we know is based on her "stage first name". PO!🕊 🤘😆🤘

@ The constant misinformation about Band Maid gets tiresome. Too many NoNothings posting lies about the band.
I actually do research and that how I found that her name is Mika Noguchi.
How many Band Maid interviews from professional music publications have you read??

That was fun! All 3 were killer. Kanami's ability to improvise above an already incredible level just floors me. Herman was hilarious and shredded with the best. I'm always impressed at how far Miku has advanced in her playing ability. Her rhythm back up is awesome, Po!🎀

Seems to me Herman Li didn't know the song. You can't predict on a BAND-MAID song. You have to know it to know when to play. That and he over played in the second part. It didn't serve the song. So, sorry Herman. Go audition for Aldious, of LOVEBITES where over playing is appreciated.
