- Hi, today I compared 3 open world racing games: Forza Horizon 3, Need For Speed (2015) and The Crew with Nissan Skyline R34

After playing a 3 FH3 is hands down the better game. There is so much variety of cars and events and so many things make it one of if not the best arcade racers imo.
Edit: playing it in 4k and HDR looks AMAZING!!

I have The Crew, NFS and Forza Horizon 3, PC version.
NFS is good for me, but drift physics are disgusting and the map is too small
The Crew driving physics are S-H-I-T and graphics too, but the map is giant
Forza Horizon 3... is just perfect for me

FH3 has best sound. The Crew/NFS best graphics and weather. But in the end FH3 is a much better game with so much more customization, etc.
nfs has way better customization, but not good engine tuning

yeah they suck they should change it and ubisoft and ivory tower doesnt seem to have the qualifications to do racing games
they updated the sound a few months ago, it still does not sound as good as forza or anything, but it sounds much better than before.

Who likes Forza Horizon 3 the best

I'm going to acquire a new gaming pc and I have serious doubts about this 3. One of the most important question I have is, how much time do you need to go from the far point of the crew to another cruising all map? And nfs? I know fh3 is around 5-6 minutes.
However I think fh3 have the best gameplay, an excellent customisation job, and lots of cars, probably I will decide for Forza. (Graphics and sound doesn't matter because all three are excellent, im coming from ps3, everything is better hahaha)
Should I buy fh3?

Got the 3, bought the crew then nfs then FH3.
The crew map is the biggest of the 3 as it took me more than 15 minutes to go from NY to LA in the subaru brz but i finished the missions in less than 2 days wich was a big disappointment for me (also there isn't a lot of cars).
Nfs has the best Aesthetics car customization obviously but this where it ends.. i mean the map is too limited and i don't like the steering (too much arcade for me) but the customization and the decals are on point and that's the most important thing in an nfs game for me so i had a lot of fun customizing.
FH3 is honestly a masterpiece i just bought it last week and i'm still discovering new places in the map and the car choice is just SO big you have pretty much everything from the 50' to 2017. Obviously it has much less bodykits than nfs BUT you can do A LOT of customization to your car performance (1.6 , 1.6 RALLY , 3.2 , v6 v8 v12 , double turbo , 4 rotor , motorbike engine .. etc). It has also the best car sound of the 3 and obviously the graphics are better too.
So you have:
The crew: Best environment.
NFS: Best aesthetics.
FH3: You have pretty much everything a car game can have.
So if i were you and i had too chose only one, i would go for FH3 without any hesitation and maybe get nfs after a while just for the aesthetics fun. I would get the crew only if my friends would buy it too, if not it's a waste of money for me.

overall with full weather, day/night cycle and car dirt forza takes the crown

Yeah Forza sounds so good with its reused sounds from the Nissan R34 for the BMW M4.
Turn10 in FM7 is like "Hey we give you the new Volvo XC90, mhhh it's an 4 cylinder engine - we put that Honda Vtec sound on it - should work, because the community can't hear the differences"

Why do you turn down the volume just so that Forza should sound better? It is a great game and they put a lot of work into it, just a pity that they only made it for the shitty xbox. Would be interesting to see Forza Horizon released on ps4. You would see sales skyrocket
