Also, I’m not sure how much Earl Holding spent on bathrooms before 2002 but it must’ve been millions because they are the nicest I’ve seen in any place anywhere I’ve been.
@@carterfan80Good point. Snowbasin seems to have put more focus on their skiing, chairs and lodges because there's no distraction with Apres ski. The Pacific Northwest has a lot of resorts like that, but they've been overrun. For example, Chrystal, Stevens, and Bachelor. Utah really seems to be a skiers paradise.
Great review. I’ve skied all the majors in North America and a few of them in Europe, and I think Utah has them all beat with the exception of apres-ski.
The amount of awesome skiing in the Wasatch range is mind boggling. I just learned about how great it was a few years ago. Also made it to Colorado last year for the first time. It gets a bum rap. I loved it. The mountains, sun and steeps are a triple threat.
My editing and legal team just let me know I stated Deer Valley gets 300" of snowfall a year. Coincidentally both Snowbasin and Deer Valley get 300" depending on where you look. I'm a pretty big deal...
@@theworldasifoundit At times I'm convinced there's a second person in my head that is there just to humble me. Thanks, no idea why I said that, and didn't catch it.

Haha, nice and plentiful bathrooms are actually a damn huge bonus at ski resorts.
Solid review.
@@carterfan80 Thanks! Great skiing. It will be interesting to see if they can figure out lodging one day.
@@bluebirdski I kind of like it when the places don't have any lodging. Keeps the more casual people out of there!!

The most I’ve waited for the tram is one full group ahead of me, maybe ten minutes

Thanks, not sure why it came out that way...
Thank you legal dept.
Uh, Salt Lake City DOES NOT have a population of 1.2 million!! Try 200,000.

@@bluebirdski You were actually correct! You said "Salt Lake", not "Salt Lake City." The metropolitan area of the Salt Lake Valley is ~1.2million.
He probably meant Salt Lake Valley including SLC->9000 South
