Something I've always wanted to see is a Diamond painting kit with like actual stones. Being that it would be insanely expensive to do so, I would love to see them come out with Swarovski crystal diamond painting, but again that would be so expensive, so I would absolutely settle for regular glass. I think it would be SO cool!
The extra sparkely drill "ab drills with coating" work best with dirty wax so they dont pull it out. A roller is the best way to lock everything down! So glad your art is making it to DAC!! Loooks so good!
You can also use blue tac for some satisfying pop sounds. I've used washi tape to outline the edge of the work, and isolating squares. then cut out the plastic within the isolated square with an exacto (press very light.. the canvas is not as thick as I first expected). that way I know exactly what im working on and keep the other squares from losing their stick from my skin oil and dust(cat hair for you). they're really fun, and I wish you luck! Ps... thank you for the reminder of Diamond painting! I've completely forgot about my current DP project since middle school!
If you stream it please let us know in the yt community tab, it's so satisfying! I think it would sell if you put this kit with your art available to purchase
Kasey I love your channel and have been watching you for years. I’m obsessed with diamond painting so I was absolutely over the moon when DAC announced that you would have paintings with them!! I bought both of your paintings and I can’t wait to see what else you release with them!! Thank you for allowing your beautiful art to become diamond paintings for us!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Tip for square drills: Never use a multi placer, make a checkboard pattern and you get a good diamond painting. A multi placer works good for rounds but not for squares.
Yeah, unless you line them up just right picking them up, they end up all sorts of crooked. Made that mistake too many times from impatience 😅 Personally, I really like using tweezers to place squares, and with the rounds I like using the applicator and wax. Idk why, but it's easier for me
I loved this kit! I have actually completed it already, and got so giddy when I saw you'd released a kit and I was ordering that day. I HAD to grab it and absolutely love it.
I find it really relaxing & not at all hard, but then I've only used the Diamond Dotz brand - which use the nicer rounded dots instead of the cheaper looking square ones. The key is to be gentle & patient and also not to overfill the tool with wax as then you can press the dots down with the metal tip. And lining them up works well just running a fingernail along a line to even them up. I've not used a multiplacer tool yet, but then I prefer the control of doing one at a time & don't mind that its slow going. I like to work line by line, bottom to top as I find that leaves the least amount of sticky exposed to dust & stuff. Plus you get to swap up the colours a bit more frequently to keep things interesting. Oh and I got some little bead tubes to keep the drills in.
Diamond Art Club offers different shape diamonds for different pieces! I have another of my art that’s round, so I’m excited to see how those compare! Thanks for the tips, I’ll definitely be using them in the future!
DAC has VERY high quality drills whether round or square. Squares will always give a clearer sharper image than rounds which is why many people prefer squares over rounds. They make their own drills and if you ever decide to give them a try i promise you’ll see there’s nothing cheap about them.
It can take some time to get the hang of it at first, but once you get used to it, it's super relaxing, you also started with the best quality diamond paintings out there which is a big plus! I've been diamond painting for 2 years and also your fan for 3 or 4 years. When I saw your art on DAC I was soooo happy I got it immediately. Hopefully we get to see more of your art turned into diamond painting, maybe some ants? :D
The moment I saw casey go for the wax I was like 'oh no, she didn't take the top plastic cover off' Because I did the exact same thing when I started doing these diamond painting things. So glad I'm not just an idiot lmao
I love diamond painting so much so when I tell you I ran to Diamond Art Club’s page as soon as I saw they had your art. It will be here in a couple of days. I can’t wait for all the bright colors
Love how you've jumping into another art medium with such spark. I have been inspired and I bought myself some diamond painting art supplies to see what I can make. I keep coming back here to get inspiration. :) Best wishes from Michigan ❤
I bought the other Diamond Painting that you did in partnership with Diamond Art Club. Unicorn Lair has round drills which will make this DP much faster to complete than Primary Connection with square drills. I can't wait to start it, however it is on a very long list of DP DACs that I have at home and that I want to do.
The ones you started with I've heard called aurora diamonds and they stick heavily to the wax so when it comes to those ill actually take the time to place them one by one with the tweezers. I find that even with barely sticky wax its impossible to find the balance of sticky enough to pick them up consistently but not too sticky where the wax pulls out of the pen so the more consistent tweezers it is. XD
I think Kaseys artstyle is perfect for this. Just the right amount of details to not go crazy as a beginner. altough for me such a piece would be way to big I do barely have the patience for a 1000piece puzzle alone 😂
I have been doing Diamond Art Kits for awhile now and every Saturday they have their new kits up and soon as I saw this one I knew it was your artwork. I'm so glad that they feature you now 😊
