@@KaseyTheGolden Is this a thing? I literally just bought my first lego set in like 20 years last week, and then yesterday I dropped $150 at Walmart on a bunch of clearance Lego and a couple sets I wanted anyway. I'm in my mid-30's, am I a part of a Lego demographic I didn't know existed? 😆
This is such a cute idea! I might demolish some of my other projects to do something like this. Lego is one of those things you think will be super cheap when you're first getting into it, and then suddenly you've spent $100 on a single set..
this is so cute and creative! recently i saw on tiktok a girl sticking legos on a surface and creating kind of a pixel art with it, and then she applied over it and stamped! u should definitely give it a try with some doodles!
This gives me SO MANY IDEASSS also I know Lego has Lego pens in their colors but they need a paint set. Ooo or a Lego Crayola colab! Their colors are just so fun!
I love the pieces! Clearly i'm still stuck in the 90's where (at least in the UK) we had the basic of the basic pieces because i've never seen the more interesting ones like the hotdog or crabs. Only lego set I have now is an LGBQT+ one and I got that in a lego store last year. (Our shops are also super tiny and have limited sets)
Our local supermarket came out with free lego mystery bags for every $30 you spent, all farm based. I have a huge bowl of trees, shrubs, fruit, vegies and animals….i think i know what I want to try doing with them.
Omg i want to try that too now ! I love legos but not a huge fan of giant 3D constructions, but decorative wall pieces like that are so cool omgg it's super adorable and fun !
That part about gluing Legos together reminds me of a part in Diary of a Wimpy Kid in which he's visiting one of his grandmothers (not the usual grandmother) and finds that she does indeed have Legos, but she glued them all together.
Wow, great timing! I love your videos and this is quite relevant as my kitchen table is covered in lego. My spouse and I have been into legos lately. I love the pick a build wall at the Lego stores to get interesting pieces . So far we haven’t built anything, we are sorting and figuring out how to divide up the odd pieces. I fear we may become crazy Lego people, or semi-crazy at least.
I love Legos! I never had any of my own... but friends and family members had some and I enjoyed building things with them..... I love your Shadow Box pieces. 😃👍 I LOVE the abstract! Oh wow! the Dragon was awesome! 🐉
Hullo Kasey, I do enjoy watching your videos and seeing how truly amazing you can be! I know the feeling of wanting a piece to fulfill the vision in your mind and just not having it or in my early years they simply did not exist ! LEGO has come so far since I was a young brick worker! I found your creations wonderful and truly beautiful. Thank you. Ahhhhh I never thought it would take me Two days to watch a video, well not one under an hour! 20 minutes is a one go if ever there was! But, the weekend is not my best viewing time slot. I imagine that more people do watch on the weekends so I do hope that I don’t screw-up the algorithm for you, stay safe and be well, say hey to Dave, Ham-n-Cheese too!
i totally thought we were gonna get a pt 2 at the end when you brought out the third canvas at the end of the video but honestly, that was really funny 😂
For the first piece with the mole, it reminded me of Mr. Resetti from animal crossing. He would basically just scold you for not saving your game before quitting. And the yellow door just added to that idea for me, like you glitched your world when you quit. And then you come back and the door is floating and Mr resetti is here to say "why would you do this to your world"
Man these are so cool! If I may ask, is there a particular set you bought to acquire all those flat pieces you used for the abstract rainbow piece? I’d live to experiment with doing some ‘painterly’ Lego art and would love a recommendation or two haha
Ahh I got the bug in 2021 when I broke my foot. I built sets but also sculptures and a sculpture park and did art based off some of my compositions... It's the best.
Making your own things like this with Lego is called a “Moc” pronounced mock, which stands for “my own creation” there’s a whole adult community that makes things like this called “afols” or adult fans of Lego!
I’ma be 1,000,000% honest with you…I absolutely LOVE how these turned out! The simple cuteness of the first one just makes me feel cuddly and smile while the second one is so bright and explosive in the best possible way! It’s completely chaotic and I think that’s why I love it so much. The pieces clash and clearly aren’t really “intended” to go together like that (if one could really say any Lego piece is intended for anything other than whatever your imagination decides…which would mean that you followed expectations exactly lol), yet the randomness makes everything fit together even better! Honestly, if all of the colors had a reasonable number of pieces or were all about the same amount, I don’t think it would be nearly as intriguing and splendid. It is amazing and the blue section, with all those eyes, is probably my favorite part :D Bravo!🎉 I applaud your pieces and now I really really really want to make some of my own!!! Thanks for inspiring me! I’m so excited that I stumbled across your videos! P.S. you have a very good way of keeping the listener’s attention! I felt like I was part of your thought process lol
We've got something in common, Kasey Golden. We're both artists and we both love Lego. I make Lego fantasy MOCS and I've considered Lego to be a form of art. I've got loads of vids about them on my channel.
Amazing 💝 I’m also going through an adulthood Lego phase and this just gave me so much inspiration 🤩 I’m in love with the rainbow-explosion piece it is so whimsical and fun and perfectly captures the essence of Lego. Cheers!
If I may suggest something, you should build a broccoli out of LEGO, then make drawings of it, then ditch your OCs and only publish broccoli related comics. It will be great!
Oh no! 😂😂😂 Not you too! Lol Jk. But for real tho, Graveyard Loon has completely transformed his content over to Lego content. I miss his creative artsy content. Yours is still artsy so we're good. 😊 Hopefully you do go back to painting and drawing one day soon though 😂
That rainbow looks so cool! Tbh I never thought about lego art before and I really like the idea! :D It looks so amazing!
As someone who took up Legos as my "well, I'm in my 30s" hobby this makes me happy!
One of us! One of us!

That looked fun! Snapping Lego pieces together is so satisfying.
But removing them is the worst! 😩
@@KaseyTheGoldendo you have a brick separator? You should try using it it makes taking it apart almost as fun as putting it together!
@@KaseyTheGolden True! Especially if you’ve lost (or can’t be bothered to go get) the brick separator. Using your nails is so hard sometimes.
I never knew Lego made such cool shapes! 😮 all I ever had was a jumble hand-me-down box of rectangles haha 😂😂

The second one reminds me one of those photo books where you had to find objects in busy scenes. Like your ant drawings!
The Lego creations turned out fantastic. My favorite was the shadow box. I'm happy to see your art bring you joy again.
They were both in a shadow box… 😭
@KaseyTheGolden oops I mean the first one
My synesthesia really kicked for that rainbow piece. Very nice
This gives me SO MANY IDEASSS also I know Lego has Lego pens in their colors but they need a paint set. Ooo or a Lego Crayola colab! Their colors are just so fun!
Even Squidward Tentacles failed to account for Legos when he claimed to master all art forms. (Seriously tho this is Amazing)

i really love the more abstract second piece !! would love to see more of this if you were interested :)

I would totally decorate my house with those
those are so pretty :) I think I would try to turn the rainbow one into a clock, I bet it would look amazing!
I absolutely adore the rainbow one!!

I'm so obsessed with the rainbow one!!! I wish I had that to hang in my house!
Ive never played with lego at all. We could never afford them growing up, still cant haha but this looks so much fun. I love what came out of it!
Honestly I still cringe when I buy them. They are so expensive, but the quality is amazing!
@@KaseyTheGolden No doubt! Every time i see the lego flower bouquet sets i drool over it. Id love to have one!

I love the floating door, shame its not blue, then you could say its the Tardis 😝
I love the rainbow one, I want to make my own!
You have to play LEGO Bricktales --> LEGO + Dioramas :)
I love this idea and yes, I would hang it on my wall.
you should make a background out of the legos and then paint on the glass
Interesting idea!
I think this is such a cool idea and both of your pieces came out so cute! I would probably buy the second one

The teal looks like a water fall 17:54 it looks very fun to like at, could be a where's Waldo but with *LEGO😂☺️😄
*was previously Legos
First of all you must spell LEGO in all caps. Secondly “LEGOs” isn’t the correct plural form, it’s just LEGO even for plural.

This is such a fun idea! I could watch you do Lego art all day. I loooove the rainbow abstract piece so much!

What a fun and cute idea! I am amazed go how you keep your style even when working with lego pieces ❤️
I watch your videos to go to sleep, not because they are bored, but because they relax me, love the swatch supply videos de most.
Looks fun ❤
You should try print making with Legos as well if you don't mind getting paint on your Legos ❤
Honestly if you have a bunch of legos (I DO), this would be a perfect gift idea!!!
The second one would make a really fun puzzle!!
You can spray paint those flat pieces so if you wanted to make the blue one black, you could!
This is such a cool and creative idea. I love the 3d element
that rainbow piece looks SO COOL!!!
Kasey, this was so much fun! This should definitely be a repeat 😍👍
You should’ve given the groundhog the pizza Lego, then it would be the famous pizza groundhog
You could also just take the glass out to give you a couple more layers
You’re right! I do worry about dust, though!
@@KaseyTheGolden that is true! Dust can be rlly annoying! With the variety of legos that you have I think it still came out nicely!

love these sm!!
