nice kit but I don't understand why you would plumb the bags together having a separate gauge and air fitting for each bag would vastly improve handling
The owner of this camper wanted the bags tied together so that it is easier to inflate and deflate the bags as needed. You can fine tune the air pressure if you run the lines separate from each other. www.etrailer.com/Trailer-Leaf-Spring-Suspension/Lippert/LC1565391.html
I’ve been running this system for a year 1 1/2 now. I have been monitoring the bearing temperatures, tire temps and tread ware and with out weighting each side of the trailer I believe my trailer is weight balanced left to right pretty well. This system has been preforming very well and I would say it well worth the investment.
This looks to be a very nice upgrade. I have a 2019 Momentum 351M. Is the centerpoint air suspension a better choice than the Roadmaster comfort-ride independent suspension? I really have no idea. Thanks for your help.
The Lippert Center Point will allow you to adjust the air pressure in the bags so that you can tailor it to the ride that you want. The Roadmaster Comfort Ride will be a set ride stiffness. Other than that difference, they are both going to perform much better than the factory suspension. www.etrailer.com/Trailer-Leaf-Spring-Suspension/Lippert/LC1565391.html www.etrailer.com/Trailer-Leaf-Spring-Suspension/Roadmaster/RM-2460-2570.html
