    In two, three years Thiem will be for sure Top-10. This guy is the most talented player on tour, leading atp-U21 Race and beneath Vesely only 20-year-old Player within Top-100. If he will not be hurted, you can be for sur that this guy will be one off the best players on the world. Yesterday he was far away to play his best tennis but has bitten much more winners than Nadal and forehand was better than Nadal. With getting older he will be more constant in his play, uprise the percentage and tempo off his first service (I have seen matches were he constantly hat a service around 200 km/h, that has been yesterday the exception) and make less unforced errors - also he will improve his (not yet existing) play on net - than this guy will be able also to beat Rafa and Nole. Btw - great match yesterday on very highi level!!!! BAMOS!!!!

      +20Alan Shie noone at the tour has a faster forehand than Thiem, and he also has more Spin than anyone else. if he learns to use it better and progresses with decision- making abilities his forehand will be a weapon that is not less than Nadals. In Fact, looking at particular shots his forehand is already more terrific than Nadals.
      fun fact on the side: today at the roland garros show they talked about a study that reveiled that Thiem's groundstrikes are in average 20 km/h (!) faster than Nadals from the line. And noone, as i already mentioned, hast faster strikes

      if you watched the whole game, you would ve seen his potential, its his first year on the tour. singlehanders in roland garros against nadal actually don`t have to win either. he just needs 2 or 3 years. i wonder what a match it would have been if thiem played in madrid against him. - a virus knocked him out and he lost 5 kilograms on weight in the middle of the tournament after beating stan.

    • @VelhaGuardaTricolor
      @VelhaGuardaTricolor 8 лет назад +1

      +Acid - Trance I respect your point of view, however if you consider that even Wimbledon has had to slow down the courts so to allow for some room for rallies, you will realize the rallies are the most amazing part of Tennis. Nobody wanted to see the GS finals with IVO Karlovic and John Isner. The best matches of all time are those with lots of rallies. Djokovic x NADAL makes for the most amazing Tennis matches you will ever see.
      And Clay court is the most difficult surface to play anyway. No free points there.

    • @AcidTrance
      @AcidTrance 8 лет назад +3

      Velha Guarda Tricolor
      Im with you all the way.. I hate S&V matches. But this court Chatrier is little too much help for Nadal. In Australia are perfect conditions. Not too fast, not too slow, no chance for wind...

    • @MrPatrickbuit
      @MrPatrickbuit 7 лет назад

      Velha Guarda Tricolor This is why Hardcourt has been deemed the most balanced and best court for matches repeatedly. It provides a great balance between winners and long rallies. Ultra-fast grass courts like Halle (ATP 250) make it way too easy to hit an ace, or a return winner. The rallies are almost always over in a split second. Slow clay courts like Monte Carlo (Masters) and RG (Grand Slam), on the other hand, are considered a little bit too slow which kinda encourages pushing. Hard shots don't have a strong impact like they should. I'm glad they sped up the French Open courts from 2015 onward, because they were ridiculously slow before.
