    Do you have a tutorial, from the beginning? Would like to try to make the star . Thank you for sharing

      @11Frivole  7 лет назад

      Hi Maribel, I have several free patterns on my blog but this one is a paying one. The video was just to demonstrate the particular technique I used for the centre rather than show the whole pattern. However, I do plan on making more videos that show designs from start to finish.

      Hi Guillermija, I replied to your comment on the other video too - the shuttles are from La Cossette on Etsy (www.etsy.com/shop/lacossette). :-)

    This is very lovely. How did you determine the gauge of the first picot?

    • @11Frivole
      @11Frivole  8 лет назад +2

      I calculated the size of the crystals (4mm x 2 as you have to go down and back up each one so 8mm per crystal) plus a couple of mm for in between the crystals and added a couple more so it would fit not too tightly.

    I would like to yryn do this with the needle is there a tutorial in English subtitles please or can you do a tutorial with you doing it with the needle plus way English subtitles please would be very grateful if you could do one please

    • @11Frivole
      @11Frivole  8 лет назад +1

      Hi Joanne, I'm sorry I am not a needle tatter and therefore all my videos are made with shuttles but this is not a difficult technique and could easily be used with a needle too as it is just a matter of making a long picot on your first chain and then adding beads before making the join to your next chain.

      Hi, this video assumes you know how to make the basic stitches and was just to explain the particular technique for making the centre of the star. I have other videos where I tat slowly like my "Shuttle Tatting for Beginners" video for example.
