The thing about Dragon link was the theme they revolves around of Avatars being everything which worked as final boss. Also I don’t think (until this point) sudden big comeback was used apart of the Zeus games. All the other ones were exchange of blows
@@goratuti1098 the thing is in Inazuma eleven final bosses were always like that with the only exception of the little giants.
All they needed to do here was having the first team here more avatars and have them counter the Raimon strategy or score with aggressive plays Raimon can't keep up as the defense was too strong to keep the first strategy.
It was a good way to test Tenma too as the team could've been tired from all that pressure and not being able to use avatars anymore and that's how you fix this power of Friendship BS that beats Avatar like they are nothing and how to have interesting opponents instead of generic ones with tons of brute strength.

Its rlly weird how raimon just wins because they love soccer alot... Arent Avatars/Spirits soppose to be like...really strong?
lol everything from spirits and isatsu techniques have distinct level of power. Not every is spirit is powerful, it depends on the user. They win here because they realized they dont need to rely always with spirits and doesn't just do what enemies does. Raimon has its own power, yes their spirits are powerful but not always neccessary to use
To be fair, Dragon Link was just flexing the life out of the avatars, even though they didn't show fatigue, the more you use it, the more power it loses come late game.
To be real with you, inazuma eleven Go didn't make such a good work on the last match of each arc. In my opinion the best one was from the galaxy arc, the idea that Tenma was always holding back unconsciously so his team could follow him was really cool (even though galaxy itself was not that cool)
