What other food is as famous as Nasi Padang whilst you're in Padang? The food capital of Sumatra offers so many different dishes so I had to continue on my gembul journey and try another one of these delicious concoctions. This video shows BULE REAKSI PERTAMA KALI COBAIN NASI PADANG. or my REAKSI to NASI PADANG. Sometimes you order too much and it turns into a mukbang.

If u come to Nasi Padang restaurant, u need to try beef rendang.
Indonesian dish mostly use so much seasonings. Indonesia is the spice islands after all. Unlike the western food that maintain the original taste of food. Soo if u don't like too salty too spicy or rich/heavy taste or something like that, maybe u won't like Indonesian food.
Especially the Padang food. Their food is too salty, too spicy, etc. They love to use so much seasonings in their food. Padang is like the food capital/center/haven of Indonesia.
Indonesian used to eat like that because they also eat it with rice. If the dish is salty dish, it will delicious if u eat it with lot of rice. The seasonings give the rice taste. It neutralize the salty or spicy seasonings.
Unlike western people that can eat any meal without rice

Makes sense, I actually enjoy the strong flavours and so true about making rice flavourful as well. Most of the time in Masakan I ask for saus from a bowl to be put onto the nasi for flavour.
Sorry for indonesian english, it sounds kinda rude because we’re not good in english but we keep learn it, hopefully all indonesian can speak good english fluently as well

Correction, Mister! 8:51 should be Ayam Bakar (Grilled Chicken). 10:17 is Rendang Ayam (Chicken Rendang). Ayam Geprek is not Padang food. They are not in Nasi Padang Restaurant.

You missed the beef rendang ... It was decleared by cnn as best food some years ago
I've tried beef rendang several times and it's very good as well. Ayam rendang blew me away though, magical!
