- Recording Funeralopolis from Dopethrone. Random footage of mostly auditioning the mixes as they are tweaked. Definately not intended to amuse, excite, entertain, or interest anybody. Long Play VHS quality.

Its very inspiring to hear the raw vocals. It's not even technically good but his passion behind it drives the music
I love it how they just sit so casually while listening to this.. "oh well we just recorded the most epic and historically significant doom track in history... let's drink beer". That's more valuable archive material than Leni Riefenstahl, Robert Capa and Richard Leacock combined
drzazgi its not like they knew it would be that big
absolutely legend indeed
Check the vid of Jus loading a bong, dude is the mellowest, but hey, he got to put his feelings on the record :D
The guy in the blue shirt is the first person to hear this masterpiece. Lucky dude
He's the engineer
Proof that you don't need a fancy studio to make earthshattering music
Just a killer fuzz pedal will do the trick
This music helps me embrace the END
Good for you! Why did you feel the need to write that in capital letters though?
@@CocaCoala Its the END man
RAW
Always wondered how this song would hear with raw vocals
Awesome...and cool
Drinking Stella Artois before they lowered the alcohol and now it tastes shite.
Oh I miss those days!!
Chunky David Gilmore
Jus is high af
2:07 fuckups = gold
Nice thinking like the session after this coulda been a steel drum Caribbean band or something lol
Fuck yeah one of my fav album of all time
Doom loves you
Interesting hearing the original vocals before they applied effects.

Are they recording to ADAT?
Joshua Allgood looks like it to me! I remember those days!
good ole analog adat. my brother recorded some songs in 1999 on ADAT. they used a vhs tape lmao
Joshua Allgood .....it’s not ADAT...it’s two eight channel Fostex D80 hard disc recorders synced up.
At 51 seconds it zooms in and the two D80’s are clearly visible.
