I count down the new year to the intro of this track sometimes. To me it exudes the feeling of leaving the year gone by for good and stepping bright & positive into a year of new possibilities. 🎩 ✨️ 🌅
ok, I just have to write this with capslock on. I ADORE YOU FOR POSTING THIS! I'VE SEARCHED E-VE-RY-WHERE. you can't _ I M A G I N E _ how thankful I am for this. kisses!!
This heavily samples The Players Association "Hustlin". A track that a much younger Carl used to dance to when he was well known as soul dancer on the London / Home Counties scene. He wasn't fat then either!
Very true - Paul Oakenfold, Danny Rampling, Brandon Block, Johnny Walker, Trevor Fung, Pete Tong, Colin Hudd , Graham Gold, Chris Paul, Gilles Peterson, Colin Dale, Nicky Holloway, Dave Pearce, Ray Keith, Mark Ryder, a lot of the Production House hardcore producers and many more (Froggy even lent his massive speaker system out to some of the big M25 raves) all go back to the pre-acid house London and the Home Counties funk scene . In some ways it could have said to have given birth to the whole of the global post 1988 electronic dance music scene.
This is unique, and still unique 3 decades later
The 'At The End Of The Cliché' album was something else. I always thought that more should have been put out on Worldwide Ultimatum.

Anyone know what album a mix of "The Player" was on that started with "cameras ready, prepare to flash" right before the beat drops?
It is not The player... It is Green Velvet - Flash
