I personally am a big fan of the endeavour , I always preferred that American muscle over the reliability of Toyota . But I am really really disappointed by the traction control system given in the car , Actually it can’t even be called the traction control system . It’s essentially an open diff car with a rear diff lock I always thought that Ford people added the rear differential lock because they were making a hard core off roader , Now I realise that they had to add it to compensate for the TC Anshumanji and all the other Offroaders in this video Especially the endeavour owners please let me know what do you think about the Tc , do you crib for a better TC while off-roading or does the rear diff makes up for it
Agree with your thoughts on TC in Endeavour. I am okay with it since I have factory diff lock which offers 100% mechanical grip. Ford's implementation of diff locker is awesome and somewhat compensates the poorly tuned TC for me.
Have seen a few Australian videos of Everest , where they claim that in 4L Rock mode the center diff gets locked and splits the torque 50:50 and TC keeps the wheel spin to bare minimum Have u ever observed that ??
Jimny does not come in 4x2 mode anywhere in the world. I wont be surprised if Maruti launches a Wagon R based contraption with lots of chrome and names it Jimny Crezza, it will sell like hot cakes, who gives a damn about 4x4 in India
Your offroading videos are excellent but it could be more better if you could modify the car according to the needs, for instance you can replace the normal bumpers with offroading bumpers, add dobinson suspension and skid plates. As ground clearance is a must for offroading you can use lift kits too to increase the height of the car. These were just some suggestions from my side but however your cars just slay on the terrain and your videos are just amazing to watch. Keep going with the amazing work!

With power figures like 212 bhp & 500nm torque , I wasn’t even considering or comparing the Fortuner But now I am So the question is , what would you buy today New Fortuner with Amazing A-trac Or New Endeavour full of features and rear diff Priorities are off road abilities and on road comfort , that’s it Plz don’t factor in the great great reliability or resale values that Toyota enjoys in India Just compare the vehicles and not the companies that manufacture them You guyss are not just a bunch of rich brats who like to abuse their expensive SUVs Infact You are the off-roaders group who actually understands off-roading very well and all the technicalities of your vehicle and also love ur vehicles So ur opinions matter a lot , so lemme know Just a one word reply like Endy or Fortuner or Gajraj will suffice If u wanna elaborate why then even better Happy and safe off-roading guysss 👍👍
Fortuner is the best here, Toyota is killing it with its traction control system alone. It'd be all too easy if Toyotas came equipped with lockers in India. I got to see Prado today in white and that vehicle didn't look showy at all, until I looked at it and knew this vehicle is something ye can choose to take yer family in if the world was collapsing.

what are your views on new 2020 endeavour 2.0 10 speed ? how it performs on on road and off road compared to 3.2 6speed ?

Snorkel is from Ford, its an official accessory. Bumper is custom made.

Diesels we use are all Turbocharged and common rail injection type. So it depends on tuning of the engine.

If Suzuki Jimny gets launched in 4wd mode in India then it can fill the absence of gypsy a bit.

A query: is the white gypsy soft top tackling the first climb in 4x4 or 4x2 mode?
Why would it be in 4x2?
Just a query because at first glance the front passenger tyre seemed like it was not recieving power during the obstacle when it was in the air.
Open differentials, wheel with least resistance will get all the power

Its a manual 4x4, after remap power is slightly above 190bhp

Comes from factory, kudos to Ford for not deleting it for india like Toyota deleted for Fortuner in India only
