Really bummed they changed the Carnation Plaza. There used to be an adorable elderly couple that came at swing danced every Saturday nite to the live swing band. I used to take a break from walking around to sit and watch them. Rose and Dubby came every Sat for over 40 years in matching swing outfits, until they passed away in 2008, three weeks apart. I just googled them and there is a video of them on youtube! From Dublino Family Videos. It's 1999, so even before I was watching them. It really brings back memories and shows how magical Disneyland can be. Seeing them dance again was amazing. And it that fun literally every Saturday night. Never ever should have stopped it.

@@kpl-CA You can google them. There are some amazing stories about them. One of my favorite memories of Disneyland. I was always trying to plan my trips to include Saturday. Always a live swing band with losts of dancers, and such a beautiful place. Some serious swing and jive dancers would come every Saturday, and they all had such love and respect for Rose and Dubby.

The thought of having a roof over the tea cups seems so disappointing. One of the best Disney memories I've ever had was on tea cups at night looking up at the fireworks. Absolute magic. The thought that it can't be replicated anywhere else in the world makes it more special, but it also makes me sad for the other parks in a weird way.
    Great video Provost!

I love the Pinocchio ride! It's fun to learn that it's popular in France! My (American) family doesn't like it as much as me. Its a rare treat for me. Lol 😂
The MAIN thing I love about Teacups is the lack of an awning and rhe lights. ❤
Also Amanda's bonus was cool, I have fun riding rides that are barely changed, like a museum ride! I feel that way about Toad's though tbh if they replaced it I wouldn't be too sad .... I'd be very sad if Casey Jr was gone. It was the first Disneyland ride my child ever rode so it's emotional.

The royal theatre is not just for kids. All of our kids are now grown up but we still watch all the shows when we take a trip to Disney, probably we could quote most of the play. The actors are so engaging and funny. It's one of the few things that feel smaller and more personal in the park. I really miss some of the shows they used to have in the horse shoe, and at Christmas time in the little Christmas village in Frontierland. I have so many memories of my kids when they were little having unplanned, unscripted character interactions there. One year Pluto sat down next to my twins on a wooden bench and watched the magic show with them with his arm around them, priceless. Crowds were smaller, and they were less castmember handlers. I know this wouldn't be possible today, but I'm glad I got to experience it. I also miss the Hillbillies

Thanks for the video Provost Family. I scored a big 1 on the secrets - I knew about the Tea Cups not having an canopy. Fun side aspect of the Tea Cups, the design of dropping the spinning floor below the observation deck to give on lookers a higher perspective truly changes the experience than if they were watching from the same eye level (great attraction design). I knew about the clocks, but will not count that as I didn't realize they had the most.
    Thanks for sharing.
