It looks like it’s a living piece of art. The feeling of grass between your toes and how it makes you feel connected to the earth. This piece gives me that sense. The textures, colors and movement-it’s so beautiful.
You might be able to do something similar with a carpet gun (they're expensive though) and different yarns. You would also need latex or some type of glue for the back of it
