    So true. 🤣
Grew to accept it. Most of my friends are expats. Some from university, some social dancing activities (bachata, salsa). Also the Meetup is a good place to connect with same-minded people. And a portion of those groups are Danes. 👍

It’s actually soo relatable especially when you leave in “Jutland” 💯

I agree with you. Come to Aalborg, we have huge parties with both expats and Danes. My clubs (hobbies): dancing, martial arts, sprogskole.
Still, no out-of-work friends from work, not even people from my countries.

Hello Mario. New sub here (expat in Copenhagen). Thank you for all your amazing content, helps me a lot. I am looking to buy an apt in Copenhagen, but would like some in-depth guidance about this. Would you recommend contacting a lawyer or økonomisk rådgivning for a subject like this? Thank you

    Hi Mario ,
Do you have any tips on "Copenhagen Distortion Party"?
This will be my first time attending "Distortion".
I haven't booked any tickets yet, but would love to get some guidance on which events to target?
Also topics like - will it be bad idea to not go for paid "Distortion Ø" area (since tickets cost are little over budget)?

I only did the street parties, haven't joined any special events so can't say. But if you like the music festival-type activities you'll have fun

Hey man. I've found your channel a few months ago and I really like your videos. Lots of great information for people looking to move to Denmark. I'd like to ask you what's your advice for young graduates who want to move to Denmark, but are from a poorer EU country and don't have much money to make the move. Is there a way to find a job before arriving or at least fast after arriving? I've seen in some of your videos that you need to pay 3 rents up front at least and considering our income in Greece is like 3-4 times less than in Denmark we can't afford such amounts unless we save up for 2-3 years with 2 jobs or something like that. My girlfriend and I already saving a bit but we want to move there in 2024. Looking forward to your reply. Gracias de antemano.

Thanks for the feedback! Ref your questions, It depends on what your qualifications are. If you're a developer or the like there's jobs like everywhere. Else you'll struggle and many end up delivering food, working in warehouses, etc. to pay the bills. Better come with a plan 😉

@@MarioScianHQ My girlfriend has graduated in media and communication and I'm working on my Industrial Engineering degree (although I'm considering a career change in a future master's). I've heard it might be decent for engineers, but I'm not a software engineer or developer. Also we will start learning some Danish this summer so that might help hopefully.

Networking is everything in Denmark. Its very hard to network without friends and when I say friends I mean true friend you expect to have for life.
So if this is not your immediate situation. Then go to every convention in Denmark who covers your skills or just close to cover your skills.
There you should talk to as many people as possible.
It may cost you money but it might work for you. No promises.
Also its very common for people to work in fields they are not educated in. Very common.
So there are no fixed boxes for ones education by large.
But one has to have proven oneself in atleast some field.
Also consider working for the state. There you can get work with ease but you 95% have to speak danish.
The pay is not fantastic but you will get by. Once you get a little foot in and you know danish. Then you should be set and things will work out.
from what I know from my near friends experiences. Its a long haul. It can easily take 3 years to get a solid foothold.
It depends though, everything depends on so many factors.
You might be just the guy they need at Novo. Or there are few and unatractive openings for your skills.
I dont know. But learn danish fast! even if it is hard and you plan to work at Novo where they speak a lot of english. Just do it. It will only do you good in Denmark.

Good luck and work hard. Denmark is not easy for outsiders.
Hope it works out for you :)
