Koby's actually got some legitimate talent. Her voice is incredibly powerful and her control of it is impressive. That being said, it was also physically painful to listen to.
It honestly just sounded like yelling. I’m not a expert or anything but that that’s just what it sounded like. Plus I didn’t like her arrogant attitude.
She’s a musical theatre singer not a pop singer like the judges brought up a good point when they said she needed to be trying out for Broadway instead
Agree, she blew her chances away with an really bad audition, I think she could have gone through if she just had done an normal audition with a real song and not just show what her voice could do...
Maybe she was so proud of her voice that instead of singing a song she felt like making noises would be enough to stun the judges. Partly succeded i guess..
I just think she should have done a different song, something more along the lines of what the judges are looking for...and who knows she might have gotten through.
Koby has such a potential. She was in the wrong place. Even there, had she managed to get hold of her energy and funnel it down into different shades of subtle emotions, she could have earned a spot into the limelight. She has a potential voice but way to angry and unfit for this audience.
That was honestly the best part of the whole train wreck...it all went downhill after that. I honestly have zero idea why he 'sang' like that!! Just beyond bizarre.
I don’t think Holly Jervis is a bad singer. Yet, she made a bad song choice. Musical theater singing technique is different than pop or more commercial music. Secondly her song is written for another type of voice. I do think that the comments relating to her mouth size are completely off. There’s nothing she can do about it. Those comments are very out of touch.
She wasn’t terrible but she would never be marketable because of the way she sings. It’s harsh and they definitely went about saying it the wrong way, but it’s true in the music industry unfortunately. I know it’s fucked up and it’s completely beyond her control but people suck and it would realistically hold her back. She also really wasn’t good enough to make it that far. She was fine, just not good enough to stand up against the thousands of people competing for very limited spots at the top.
I don't think she is either. I think with voice training she'd get much better. But the way she moves her mouth is odd. Please I'm not making fun of her, just it's like she's had someone tell her to express herself. I have a friend that's deaf and he moves his mouth in sort of the same way. I don't think it's her fault though.
When Holly began singing, i closed my eyes and really listened. Her voice is not bad at all, just the wrong song for her voice. When I watched her sing her visual presence distracted me so much I couldn't hear her voice objectively.
@ZKArt Agree on the vocals- not sure it has anything to do with "a weird original song.." etc. With the right vocal coach saying Take it down a notch or two, I think she can do a lot better than she did here. Imo. She has to realize that you have to *feel* the song in order to perform it.. Instead of just being loud.
3:03 The singing of the "Hallelujah"-guy is unbelievable funny: "..........major lift, the baffled king composing Hallelujahaaaaahhhh....Hallelujooooh!" Oh my God! 😂 🤣 😄 And the comment of Barry G. is a a little mean: "You need three yeeeeesses!". Greetings from Germanyyyyyhh...🇩🇪 🤗 And btw....J Star - I'm a Fan, seriously! 😌
So, Coby can sing, that doesn't mean she's a pop star. Just because you can sing doesn't mean you can handle every style. It's unfortunate that she didn't just let her voice be natural. She made it hit her whole range in 10 seconds. If she had just sang a song cover, she might have made it through.
Shawn Armenta is my favorite 😂 so funny. Especially when the chorus repeats for the second time, and he is all moving his hand at the judges and saying, "CANDY GIRHLHLHLHL!"

The first guy singing Hallelujah. The screen shot of the others in the waiting area. They seem to all be thinking. They all still have a chance hearing that crazy voice.
Koby can actually sing really well! She just is used to musical theatre and opera. Her voice would suit the stage so much better than an audition room. If I were a judge, I would have made sure to encourage her to keep singing and really use her voice where it would be most appreciated.
Yeah I wish she didn’t sing whatever *that* was and had picked an actual song! I would have loved to actually hear her tone come through. She may have actually had a shot.
Yes, they more or less explained that, but not stressed it enough. "You're good, but not the sort of thing we're looking for here". They said so when she left, but while she was there it was more negative.
Ant and seb were friggin amazing! Omg, when seb first chimed in, it took everyone by surprise…seemed like even ant! Hahaha I love their confidence. When they found out they got the 2nd “no”, it looked like they had lost a bet and they realized now they were gonna owe someone a bunch of money.
When someone comes on and says they KNOW they are the winner because they are just FABULOUS, I know we are getting ready to hear something excruciatingly awful. That trio (JAHM) was so bad I think they gave me a headache. Apparently, the terrible acts think if they move around a lot or if they sing at the top of their lungs, we won't notice how bad they are. So sad that they are so disillusioned that they really believe they are great singers when they are actually TERRIBLE singers.
I went to high school with a girl that thought she was an amazing singer. She was so tone deaf! For her Birthday she rented a really nice karaoke machine and basically wouldn’t let anyone else sing. Idk if she didn’t want anyone to show her up? Or if she truly thought she was entertaining us. It was sad and embarrassing tbh. And she is now 40 and still thinks she is a great singer!
I could never have in my wildest imagination come up with a funnier, more surreal version of Hallelujah! I have been deeply depressed recently and watching that had me in hysterical tears of laughter. Very grateful to have come across this tonight

J star should make a debute for comedian instead of singer, his audition cracks me up everytime
Anton had a really decent voice. But Seb made the performance a joke.
I think Anton's Mum said
_"Take your brother with you to the audition"_
@@TonyEnglandUK They are brothers
I agree on that
@@pollypurree1834 I think the joke of, "when your Mom makes you take your sibling with you..." applies perfectly here given Seb supplies no talent value to Ant.

Ant and Seb never gets old. It's so funny and the looks on their faces. They really think they sound good.
It’s ant and deck-
@@invalleria Yep I agree, that even though Anton was actually not bad in the singing cateogory, they came as a team and were judged as such. Whether Anton would have ditched Seb if asked to, I don't know, but I don't think that came up. Seb stuffed things up majorly for Anton really. Maybe Anton felt he needed a back up when he first went there but seriously, he didn't need Seb at all who basically doesn't sing just says words here and there. That was the ridiculous part!

She had the wrong idea that she could impress the judges /w/ a vocal exercise. She should have just picked a moderate song.
U can see how disappointed J Star’s relative was💀👍
😂😂😂😂
I thought it was more Complete and utter Shock!! “ what the hell have you dragged me on National telly for? 😮
Holly is so nice ...not cringe or talking back
I just think she should have done a different song, something more along the lines of what the judges are looking for...and who knows she might have gotten through.
yes I totally agree
She was so polite and sweet.🥰
If Koby had picked a song that didn't evolve screaming on top of your lungs, she might've actually done well.
Yea ikr?
she can definitely belt, but needs to learn when to do so and when to not...
The lack of self-reflection in some people is amazing.
Not amazing but soo pathetic
Yes I sang and had talent but my parents who have backgrounds in music and especially my dad who has an excellent ear would tell me the truth.
The ones that come in with true talent always seem to be humble, teachable and connected to the music not themselves.
Cs they’re all decent people not deluded ones
Yup.
The judges can be EXTREMELY cruel....Wow. Some of these poor folks aren't great but some have promise.
My cat made jumped off my lap with a hell of a meow on the second contestant trying hallelujah!!
Melanie is amazing! She was so sweet and so nice! She’s just happy to be here.. I love her for that.! She also took the judges opinions really well ^^
Koby has such a potential. She was in the wrong place. Even there, had she managed to get hold of her energy and funnel it down into different shades of subtle emotions, she could have earned a spot into the limelight. She has a potential voice but way to angry and unfit for this audience.
Bro she didn't sing she just screamed into the mic. She's awful. The judges were spot on
She's nuts. Believe it or not, she blamed Trump for her loss

@Melissa Faye Whatever you say. Lol.
Yes, please no one should make fun of her mouth. That’s not her fault at all.
She can definitly control how.big her mouth gets.

When Holly began singing, i closed my eyes and really listened. Her voice is not bad at all, just the wrong song for her voice. When I watched her sing her visual presence distracted me so much I couldn't hear her voice objectively.
Absolutely. Simon had an offensively insulting way of putting it, but her mouth was actually really big.
Yall stop.
She CAN'T sing

Koby has amazing vocals. She could actually sing but chose a weird original song that doesn't scream popular. She could easily adapt if she wanted to.
J Star? Is that you?
Nah, just screaming, awful
@ZKArt Agree on the vocals- not sure it has anything to do with "a weird original song.." etc. With the right vocal coach saying Take it down a notch or two, I think she can do a lot better than she did here. Imo. She has to realize that you have to *feel* the song in order to perform it.. Instead of just being loud.

When holly Jervis starts talking about how she worked hard blah blah Simon looks at thinking : shut and sing!
So, Coby can sing, that doesn't mean she's a pop star. Just because you can sing doesn't mean you can handle every style. It's unfortunate that she didn't just let her voice be natural. She made it hit her whole range in 10 seconds. If she had just sang a song cover, she might have made it through.

That is neither musical theatre or opera 😂

Idk how the judges kept it together so well with J Star. I couldn’t not stop laughing.
Deluded ppl sucks 😂
Too many of these contestants think that all they have to do is sing loud and they'll get it.
They missed the part about tone quality and technique
I went to high school with a girl that thought she was an amazing singer. She was so tone deaf! For her Birthday she rented a really nice karaoke machine and basically wouldn’t let anyone else sing. Idk if she didn’t want anyone to show her up? Or if she truly thought she was entertaining us. It was sad and embarrassing tbh. And she is now 40 and still thinks she is a great singer!
thats miserable and embarrassing, it is saddening
Oh no 🤧
