I have this as a loaner since yesterday. I have a GLE450 and I’m really impressed with the GLB’s build and acceleration coming compared to the GLE. For me, I’m 6 feet tall, the SUV is too small but I was pretty impressed with this car.
Acceleration? Do you have a GLE350?
@@MercOne no I have the GLE450. For being the GLB250, it surprised me that it accelerated rather quickly or at least it felt like it… obviously it’s a smaller car but it did its thing.
Jeez they are giving out glb’s as service loaners…. My local mb dealership atleast has a fleet of c’s and glc’s for loaners…. I’d switch dealerships if I were you
@@tdub25 nah they were giving me a c class. I hated it the last time around. Since the glc is going to be the same thing I picked the glb. I hated the door handles on the c class.
How do you fit in the back seat? My son is 6ft and I want to make sure he fits lol
Love the practicality of the GLB but I had to overdo it and went with a 2023 AMG GLB 35. It’s great for the family and the kid in me lol great review btw
What’s your thoughts on it now that you’ve owned it ? I’m looking. To buy my first luxury car upgrade from a Mazda and considering the same car you have . I’m aware that luxury cars will cost more maintenance wise but just curious on the GLB
I always appreciate a good refresh to keep things fresh. And not everything needs to be changed fully. Improve what's needed and leave the rest alone ❤❤❤

Amazing video guys.
It appears that the full screen for android auto is/was fixed. Or Not sure if Apple CarPlay still doesn’t utilize the full screen in the MBUX system. Was there an upgrade to the system as well? I have a 2023 GLB250 and the blocky, not fully utilized screen for Apple CarPlay drives me nuts!!

It seems that for 2024, all the Mercedes SUVS got the new Mercedes startup chime that the C300 and S580 has.
The rims look like the ones on my 2021 Nissan Rogue SV

Nice car, but just not a fan of the new grille design. Both the GLS and now the GLB end up looking like Mercedes Sprinter vans
Prices are relative. This car costs USD185,000 in Singapore. My daughter wanted me to buy one. I told her we're buying a Nissan Qashqai instead. 'Only' USD136,000!
So underpowered for a CUV/SVU, as any Benz, you get what you paid for. 😅
Cargo is 62 cubic ft (22 w seats)
Can’t even compare this gorgeous design and specially reliability to some Lexus NX350 drove it cheap cheap cheap
Whats about the head issues in 250 and 35 models, nobody is talking about it but so many engines are still affected by this 🤭 and mercedes can not fix it since 2019 as there are still these issues in models produced in 2023.. 🤦🏻♂️ I‘m glad that I could sell mine 250 after the cylinder head was replaced in only 22k km..
which engine model you are talking about?
All 250 and 35 models from 2019 till 2023 in CLA, GLA, GLB and A class.. all American and Canadian owners were informed and the warranty was extended. In Europe there is no information regarding these issues.. we tried to push it and required feedback from swiss mercedes but they will not extend any warranty for this.. thus I would not recommend to buy these models..
Thats why I bought the 200 even though I don’t like the engine option.

That's literally every compsct and midsize SUV now.
Looks cheap why buy this over an BMW X5, RDX/MDX, Lexus RX/TX or Genesis GV70/80
These fake exhaust tips are so cheesy and gaudy looking, Volkswagen does the same thing as many of their models and it just looks so terrible.

They made this Benz too small and cheap looking! That grill looks like a Kia!!! I best get my boo to upgrade me to a RR or Bentley!!! My fabulous chocolate donk deserves only the best!!!!!!!!
