TranZit is a perfect launch map. I give it a solid B. They under utilized the corn field and Nacht. It should’ve been added as a complete and expanded version with a box location there and a bus stop. Feels more like a 5-8 person map. EMPs are cool. Map is crazy fun in a hectic way when playing with randoms. Holding out turbine lets you knife faster. Bowie knife and knuckles are both 1 knife if hit Denz before contact. You can do Rich egg with only 2 people having EMP’s pretty easily and is possible solo if you know how to throw one EMP perfectly with a bit of luck. Having played this map with the 8 person glitch, it does feel a lot better. And yes I am covering every game, both treyarch and nonTreyarch. Thanks for watching!
@@CoachFerret thanks for the reply! AW will be interesting to hear about. I enjoyed all the maps except the first one. Not hated just a little boring. IW is the one I’m most interested in hearing about. Ghost and skulls machine eggs are wicked cool. Beast from Beyond botching Extinctions story was wack. The maps normal round gameplay feels a little weird sort of like it doesn’t feel fully fleshed out. Same with the amount of details compared to others. No call in buddy. Venom-x/y step is not casual friendly. All those negatives yet it has 3 unique fun boss fights inside of it proving an interesting dichotomy when trying to grade it. Meth fight is a true challenge. Mammoth fight is a nice callback to Ghost. Skull machine is on my radar so hard since I don’t like using D-Cut or cards. 8 queens puzzle is a neat thing this map taught me
Die Rise could've been good if the Easter egg reward was that a new stationary elevator opened revealing PhD Flopper which you could buy at a highly inflated price of 10000 points. And that would be its only usable appearance in BO2 outside of the wunderfizz.
Bo2 zombies is an endless classic id argue that tranzit isn't even bad when you run to get to the bank with perma jugg and other perma perks, pap is a pain tho, die rise really isn't too bad wonder weapon in die is ez to build fun to use again the bank makes it easier to play sushi room is fun to train in, mob is goated (common sense) buried is kinda like a kino vibe gets boring after a while but still not bad the aesthetic is really nice, origins is difficult but extremely rewarding
Tbf I like to think of the jet gun as a skill gap wonder weapon, if you know how to do the melee trick you get the benefit of infinite damage and ammo without the thing breaking
Die Rise gave me the extra hard challange to survive the map! Die Maschine or Der Riese for example are very boring and super easy to survive. Bo2 Zombies was super creative. All Maps feels special and unique!
I have no problem with die rise verticality I have a problem with limited choice that leads to repetition. Ascension had half as much verticality, and Mob of the dead had a little more, wasn't the main focus but it made going back and forth possible which lead to not taking the same repetative choices of paths. Like tranzit, it is go the way that is not trash, or pain in the fog with small areas, die rise had a similar but watered down version of that. Ironically I had more fun on the bus and messing with the steel barriers than die rise, but the sniper, PDW and sliquifier were its only saving grace to me (and getting free perks)
For me Black Ops 1 will always be the best zombies game but BO2 will always be a close second. Both incredible games that newer titles will never hold a candle to.
My main issue with it, and the main issue I've heard from others, is that when it does fail its not just a quick redo. Without lucky teleports it can be a pretty big pain to go all the way back to bus depot, then across the map to power and then back to town. Just can create a pretty unnecessary time sink of nothing but downtime.
