I remember growing up in a small northern Alberta town next the Sask border, Tom Cochrane was played in our hockey dressing room all the time. Seeing the tribute song he did for the kids was moving to say the least. My heart breaks for the families and friends of the victims of that bus crash. The one thought that brings comfort is knowing that the moments up to their fate where filled with happy teen age boy chatting and joking with their best and closest buddies on the bus.

Incredible that this was just two weeks ago, and that he was somehow pictured with Paul Brandt, who is the other guy who has a prominent tribute performance circulating right now. Life is strange and mysterious sometimes.

OK youtube, who do you think was "doing 70 in wrong lane", the young protagonist, or the other driver? I think you could interpret both ways, the hockey player being young and reckless, or that he was doing everything right, and fate stepped in.
