Mind boggling performance! The sheer size and depth and width, the holographic presentation coupled with Godzilla level bass extension is just nearly without equal!
Great work on the video as usual man. That VAC amplifier is incredible, a work of art. Those speakers are absolutely beautiful. The finish work is off the charts!
Elizabeth Hayes I’m not quite sure what you’re asking. From the vids recorded in Munich, this system is possibly the best sounding one, I had heard. Not to sound rude, but how can you not understand or misconstrue what I’m saying?
Wow what a system those speakers are glorious but are monstrous not sure about the cost but also moving them about definitely a two man job and that amplifier it’s huge that must have been a true delight to view but also sample the sound as always a great video and sound 👍
What he said about placing the speakers where you find the best bass performance in a room kind of clicked, makes sense. Never heard that before.👍

Not sure if you where joking with that comment, but, I've always set up my speakers after how the bass sounds best (not to confuse with loud or super low, but rather accurate). I have later learned about "the master setup" (google it) which does pretty much the same. Might take you many hours the first time, but when you have it, mark the spots, so that you can easily replace the speakers (if the placement ends up to be very unsuitable for permanent placement) to the optimal spot.
quite the impressive speakers, i like how its designed with narrow front and huge woofer in the back you can adjust. visually i don't like grills and covers, and these speakers had them on everything in the front. i sure would like to hear these in person :) thank for covering this room :)
A good impression even listening via RUclips. Pretty finish on the speakers.I doubt that many would be able to have their system standing quite so proudly at home though with cable elevators etc.A little low on WAF (wife acceptance factor)perhaps, although there are many other systems that would fall into this criteria aesthetically speaking too.
Whoever manufactures it will tell you that you NEED it. Reviewers will say that it makes the music "come alive" and how they can definitely hear the real difference.
I love audio and music and have always had some level of decent music system since I was a young man. But this to me is when “to much is not enough”. So much money to pursue the very last bit of performance, hype and status.
I feel contempt for purveyors and their disregard for facts/visual aesthetics in the apparent pursuit of audio performance of pre recorded music as for consumers
No thanks, I'll take a fully loaded Porsche 911 turbo s, and a Cayenne for the winter. Thing is I'd still have 60 grand leftover to buy an incredible 2 channel system that is 90% as good as this...... High end is dying because it is so ridiculous.
you could spend your money on the cars and drive them for five hours a week, the rest of the time they sit outside doing nothing or buy the system and use it for 5 hours a day -big potential difference there - to each their own How many videos of high end systems have I made - 31 with 31 ish more to come and that was about hal of the high end show - High end is hardly dying, its the opposite
@@PursuitPerfectSystem Who listens to their stereo 5 hours a day? I have a decent ( Bryston/ Vandersteen) system, that I really enjoy. I probably only listen to it 5-10 hours a week. My point is that the price of these ultra systems is out to lunch. There is no way that those speakers ($200k +) have the material or r&d costs to justify the price.
Some people work listening to their systems all day, could be retired and have the time to listen every day in which case it could very well be money well spent for those lucky people who can do it.
@@dudley0826 I listen my system (Alsyvox/Kondo) 3 to 5 hourd per day and 3 or 6 times per week. And I drive a Cayenne S coupe every day. Hmm... yeah, I won't deny it some prices are ridiculous, but other brands offer real performance. It is a matter of experimenting, listening and of course letting others enjoy. If you can't afford to buy a 911 and a system like this, the problem isn't the high end, it's you. That is why there are cheaper systems or cars. Every time I see these comments ... it's like manufacturers have an obligation to lower prices and make them accessible just because there are people who can't afford them...
Real Bhakt small company’s, small sales, high R&D. I don’t think it is overpriced. You could bring the price down if you mass produced it in China. Would never be the same though. I for one love to see people striving for the best they can be. That’s far more important than price.
Both the amp and speakers are works of art. My congratulations to the designers who were in charge of the aesthetics.
Mind boggling performance! The sheer size and depth and width, the holographic presentation coupled with Godzilla level bass extension is just nearly without equal!
The Ultra 11s are in the top 5 of my favourite speakers.

Another great video Terry. Thanks again for letting us live vicariously through your work.
Gotta say, those speakers are something else.
This is possibly the best sounding system I’ve seen in your vids from Munich. It’s pretty sexy too!
And how, pray, can you tell, sitting at home as you are?

System is truly incredible!😳
that speaker cable is probably 10× the price of my entire system, lol
16k dollars per meter...

Best sound so far.
ILL TAKE IT!!! soon as I win the lotto.. ehem!
Me too 👍🏼

If you can afford this equipment you will probably have a room that your wife has no business being in.
Gorgeous ,fantastic ,wow
I wonder when audiophiles will start buying special audiophile air to fill their audio rooms with it.
if you buy either these speakers or amplifier you get Audiophile Special Quality air for free
Whoever manufactures it will tell you that you NEED it. Reviewers will say that it makes the music "come alive" and how they can definitely hear the real difference.
It is already available. The bottles are labeled "Helium" and can also be used for filling balloons.
Wie währe es mit einem eigenem Kraftwerk, nur für die Anlage?
So Terry, how did you get this system in the back of the van to bring home?
I'm sold. These sound so much better through my tiny laptop speakers than anything else. Where do I buy?
maybe try watching / listening on something better like you would all your other recordings
Perfect sound!
Very wounderful 👍 👍 👍 👍 👍 👍
Wooooooow amazing sound!!! I´´d better start saving up ha ha ha ha
Another great recording Terry. About how much money was playing in this entire system?? Great sound, thanks.
That's close to a million dollars.
First piece of music sounded great considering youtube, etc
Love that amp. Would settle for the vr55s
Tom Billard I’m gonna dream about that amp tonight...with any luck.
please, i need 2 !! where i sell my kydney
despite being youtube it sounds really good
If you wanna play with the big boys go for this system.
Very nice
The boxes of these speakers are more expensive than my house
Before you fork out $150,000 for the VAC amplifier, do be aware that it will heat your living room to 112°F.
There is a house sitting in this room
Gorgeous
They only produce these speakers in small numbers
The cabling is more expensive than a Mercedes
I read that the Ultra 9 weighs 900 lbs!
What are those mics on the floor?
lights
Better than 11 to mi ear
Fountek ribbon tweeters? Equally at home in a 1500$ speaker as they are in a 200 thousand dollars speaker, it seems.
Glass windows behind the speakers and Accuton drivers - a bit hard to listen for a long time even with a tube amp.
A little loose in the bass after my ears, but very good treble.
still sound good, 20023

Go solid state (Coda 16.0)
and no music was played that day Sad ...
there are 2 different song demos in this video?
Seems to me some producers do everything possible to upset spouses. 😊
Wow, I just love those speakers in the red, they weigh n at 250 kg each. Ouch 😓
You don't tell us which is the second song!!!!
both songs are linked to in the video description
where s the subwoofer in this speaker?
My understanding is that a powered subwoofer is integrated into the speaker.
CABLES ALONE I CAN BUY 6 HOMES IN SOUTH AFRICA LOL
is this the best speaker money can buy?
no von scweikert makes a much bigger one just for starters :)
Try Kharma Veyron
What a last songs
the songs are all listed in the video description with links to the albums
all of this just to listen to some audiophile test tones.
its like the Matrix movie then audio system
massive soundstage
$150,000 for integrated and $200,000 for speakers...Yikes !!!
John Mitrano they call it high end for a reason...Yikes!!! I can’t afford that sports car I want either.
The speakers are absolutely stunning but the amp sticks out like a sour thumb..!!!
I hope you don't think the last 10 minutes is so YT viewers can appreciate the quality of the sound.
Feels like whole system assembled and even made for one song)) with other tracks is nothing special.

that's the UGLIEST amp I have ever seen should have made two amps . but those speakers now them i could live with.
Severely overpriced
