I prefer the current one we are using -Arise o compatriots….However regardless of what my preferences are or the law maker’s preferences, they should have sought the peoples preferences via some kind of polling and if majority choose the old one then so be it. It's extremely shameful that a leader of Nigeria in the 21st century has reversed our National Antem to what the colonial masters handed down to us, a symbol of foreign imperialism, and we call ourselves giants of Africa.
This old new National Antem doesn't portrail patriotism, Faith, unity justice & equity the way the new old Antem did, yet they adopted it without an opinion poll.
Nigerians demand a say in these National changes because they are symbols of our National identity, I urge Nigerians to boycott it period.
