Seeing an Amur Leopard amazing. They’re such stunning and captivating big cats who deserve respect. I get to seem them up close all the time in Pittsburgh, but seeing them in the wild is breathtaking. What’s even more breathtaking is seeing a healthy cub in the wild. It’s a brutally-harsh world out there for leopard cubs. Also, having two healthy Amur Leopards and David Attenborough together in the same video makes this perfect. Two of my favorite organisms: the Leopards and Attenborough!

You should not say that. I live next to the reserve, where leopards and tigers are rescued. The BBS has old information. Now leopards are already about 60 individuals and the numbers are increasing. They began to move to other reserves in Primorye. The population growth has been proceeding systematically since 2008, when there were only 28 of them. I think there is progress.

I believe Russians will doing good job on this but I'm still worry because of...uhh...China (didn't want to sounds stereotype but well well, we all know why...).
I don't know after six months you'll be able to see my comment or not, but if you see this and it's not too demanding can you give me the update information? I hope there will be more good news on this. And thank you again for the previous information.

Seeing Amur Leopards at Yorkshire Wildlife Park is the most amazing privilege. They are shy and often don't come out in their beautifully designed enclosure for long periods, especially in hot weather, but well worth off-season visit to YWP with repeated popping back to Leopard Heights to check whether one is out on patrol- when you can see one up VERY close. Stunning! YWP is involved in breeding and conservation efforts for this precious creature.

Hopefully not. Their numbers have slowly climbed back up for the past 10 years and, last I've heard, there were about 50-60 cats in the wild last year.
All these numbers are in the wild, so the very thing that made them so endangered, the gorgeous fur they were (and sadly still are) hunted for, might be the very thing that eventually saves them as well. That fur might look like a beautiful coat for a human to some, but others like the coat better when worn by the actual cat it belongs to. So there are quite a few in zoos and even in rich people's homes as vanity "pets". Not ideal, but at least they're safe.

you cant. climate change is real but its not man made process. Its a cycle of ice ages. We are living in the end of current Ice Age, and the polar ice will melt eventually no matter what we do. So natural habitats are changing. Some animals adapt, others don't. Tigers and other alpha predators are usually the worst to adapt, so the go first.

It’s worth noting that during the ice ages, the leopard (Panthera pardus) was a lot more widely distributed across the frigid latitudes of northern Eurasia, with fossils even being found in Iberia, England and Germany, so Amur leopards are the last relic of these cold-weather adapted leopards and they are on the brink of extinction.

Big Cats are always beautiful to see, but their species which live in snow are gorgeous, they hit different on first sight, as if they have grown to advanced form like pokemon

We should work hard to protect these magnificent cats for the future generations by not only adding care and breeding facilities but also raising death sentence to the poachers!
One of the best and cutest clips of Amur Leopards... 🐆😻

It's just life, some animals fail to adapt and die out.
It's also a tad amusing the idea that the scarcity of an animal heightens its value, knowing well the heartache that will come from losing said value.
So, not really sad unless you are to brand that idea to yourself. Self-inflicted pain, really.
