I know I'm not the only one, but I think if Samson stays consistent for a few months, dude will absolutely blow up. Especially if the songs are like this, bar heavy, funny, with the phenomenal delivery that he has. I'm happy already, because I've been listening to him for years, and can't wait for more.

Samson is a breath of fresh air in hip-hop right now. He's been there, but he is being noticed more, and he's dropping 10 after 10. When he flows, I "feel" the roots of rap, and it's just captivating. He takes the craft seriously and has a deep love for it, and you can hear it.

Not according to the court verdict I think. But in any case, that's not the reason no one should be upset about the Derek Chauvin bar. It wasn't defending or condemning what Chauvin did, nor defending or judging George Floyd. It was simply a simile used to paint a picture of the pressure and force Samson is applying to be the next big thing. The pressure is the only aspect of that incident Samson was referencing. It'd be no different than had he instead referenced an hydraulic press.
