If I remember correctly, there should be a bolt attaching the flywheel shroud from the bottom, but the cylinder head shroud should not be attached with that bolt as well. It would be impossible to remove the shroud on that side if that was the case.
Well, that back one was there, and sure as hell wasn’t letting that side panel go. I finally got it out after an hour, an it has stayed out. I bet that bolt is one of those things that gets left off as soon as it’s removed. My ole 420 had it, and I never took that side tin off for that reason. The one on the side of the head let it go actually quite easy, so I just took it out.

Oil Filter Oil Leaking Issue... Not if you pre-oil your oil filter gasket and hand tighten the oil filter (+ 1/4 to 1/2 turn)...
I always do. Hand tight, and I usually oil both sides just to be sure.
