yeah I just saw earlier today that all shotgun projectiles use the same code as the swordsmachine and that that's the whole reason projectile boosting is a thing. I knew about projectile boosting, but not that you could parry other shotguns (mostly because their aim is atrocious as shown in the vid)
the thing about the insurrectionist's boulder isnt a lie, but for some reason some projectiles pass through it. you can heal by shooting at the boulder with the revolver or the electric railcannon
The soldier model was actually made before the stray model. The stray model used to be a taller and more red version of a filth at the time since the game was going for PS1 era graphics rather than PS2-PS3 (Idk) and so when it came around to update the older models (as seen in old ULTRAKILL videos on Hakita's channel) the stray was so drastically different from the soldier that it might just be better if it was an unmodified soldier or something, but they didn't change the models height for, idk "making it more lenient for the player to hit them" I guess, so now we have strays being unmodified soldiers, despite the fact that a stray is much taller for some reason
V1 doesn't have a gender, but people (me included) like to refer to it as He because of the TTS voice people use for it. V2 doesn't have a gender either however Hakita thinks using She/Her for V2 is pretty cool

It's actually easier since they added the extra parry frames, now people can do it pretty consistently.

You can actually Parry any shotgun not just the swordsmachine. You can Parry v2's shotgun, swordsmachine's shotgun and your own shotgun
you can also explode the pellets with teh sharpshooter on all of them
basically any projectile in the game is parriable
