Beautiful and tasteful resto-mod; Exactly what I would expect from you guys. Thanks for the new variety of content. Looking forward to more of these in future. Cheers!
Danner Snake Boots (17 in.) have quite a similar look. I got a pair of them about 5 years ago. Very comfortable & durable. I wear them for off-trail hiking, deep snow shoveling, Halloween marvel/DC outfits, & the Ren Faire.
Loving this channel Weston but I’m coveting your cutting tools from your snips all the way to shears and in between. I wish I could have such gloriously sharp tools for my leatherwork. What a fabulous place to be among the smell of leather. Heaven!
I so much wish that PNW boot makers would spec out a larger diameter eyelet/grommet on the top. This would allow for a loggers knot on the laces. This would be a more true to tradition construction and allow for either a conventional lacing or a old school knot with no real cost addition or inconvenience to the wearer.
After shaking out all the old dried foam, I would have assumed that something would need to be added back on the inside. Was that an option, or did it seem unnecessary?
It's not exactly watching a rebuild on the Nick's boot channel, but then again, your skills are in a different realm. I do enjoy these videos very much. It's a wonder how you can take a boot from something you don't like to make it something that makes it a better boot for you...
So good seeing you get into custom work/repair stuff. I just got into leatherwork and kind of went full send on a project that I'm a bit stuck on halfway through. I'm making my own shoes from the ground up, leather hide, hand cut/stitching, and ye old contact cement. I was wondering if you'd be interested in taking a look where I'm at progress wise and maybe giving some advice on what would be the next step so I can these things together finally and on my feet? The main brain block is what I should do to get the uppers attached to the midsole. Storm welt it, lock stitch everything, or what lol. Thanks for the years of quality content in any case. Hopefully you can lend me a little help or shove in the right direction. Cheers!
Even if they look like stripper boots, idk why that should hold you back. It reminds me of men who don't wish to wear pink because they think it's a girl's color
I’m absolutely loving the channel but I don’t think it’s getting the spotlight it deserves, I think it has to do with the fact that anyone that is in social media had an unbelievably short attention span. I hope you guys can find a way to condense the content without loosing the quality

Born to wear cool stripper boots, forced to wear regular sized boots.
“And I need them more than want them, and I want them for all time…”
bro had the daniel plainview drip
Great job, Taylor Couburn, (the gentleman who did the work). I enjoyed this video quite a bit!

Cool customs. They look like high end doc martens. That's not an insult.
One of my most sentimental possessions is my fathers old Halls Lineman Boots.

As a former emo-goth-punk I'd rock those at their original height with exactly zero shame everyday. lol.
tall boots are gorgeous. i wear my 14eye docs everyday, get tons of compliments on them!
Rose Anvil 3 keeps delivering great videos! :)
(For the record, I still recommend voiceover)
The new height? NOOOOOOOO! Is what I said originally! Great job!

Please do a pair of Canada West Boots, WM Moorby's 1801s. Canadian classic heritage boot out of Winnipeg Manitoba.
Small price to pay for gorgeous boots.

Those look outstanding! Crazy to think such boots were made 20 minutes from my house here in Pennsylvania!
After shaking out all the old dried foam, I would have assumed that something would need to be added back on the inside. Was that an option, or did it seem unnecessary?
Such a dope video, I love watching the artful craftsmanship of the build videos! Keep up the awesome video content!!
Loving these video's! Interesting video would be converting a protective toe boot to a soft toe, or vise versa. Keep these coming, they rock!
Ah those. I have a pair of 1995 919's (the 10" version of these boots) that I got NOS. They do run MASSIVE for their size. Any hints on the ND3?
Really cool! What sewing machine do you use?
the final version looks rad
Those boots are beautiful! So many details on those boots from the additional leather patches to the green outsoles.
Oh no! So cool high shaft boots cut down? They would look so nice with shorts like with a lara croft cosplay!

Thank you!
Wait, did you replace the brittle down lining or leave it out?
That’s just a thing of beauty, both the boot and the craftsmanship, loved this video
I always die a little inside when I see someone shortening the shaft of a boot
Absolutely loved the video work and the Lo-fi audio track. I'd rock those boots.
I'm not even really a boot guy but these are dope I'd wear the hell outta these. Love the channels btw
Hand tool rescue vibes from this vid.
I always wondered what King Edward VIII did after he abdicated, a bootmaker, who knew.
It's funny I love them the way they are
Awesome way to salvage those boots! I love the new channel man, its awesome to see your footwear experience being put to use!
From badass boot to badass boot. Enjoyed the trip!
Those came out great!
I love the way they look
Awesome! These boots look amazing, great job. Look like a longer version of my Redwing Blacksmiths in black prairie (but better😅)!
I liked them a lot to start but the results turned out well.
Would've been nice to see washers on these eyelets to keep the precious laces intact
Wow, very well done. The boots AND the video, of course!
You should make a diy boot package and sell it to your site. Would be fun and definitely a buy!
@RoseAnvilBuilds what are the boots at 7:23?
Those are some good looking boots
Oh I’m a lumberjack and okay I work all night and I ……..
Damn, I didn't know strippers wore boots like that! I thought they usually came in rediculous high heels...
Absolutely beautiful.
Leather workers can be strippers too
You need an arbor press for the eyelets
Very nice!
Foam looks like Ally Sheedy's Breakfast Club dandruff
Another great build! I need the real info on that brush, though. That was too big to be the Cobbler's Choice.
I’d like to get a pair
1:50 what’s the background music
Man I remember those boots on ebay, or I think I did. Sweet boots
If you wear gaffs and spurs 16" is the way to go
Hand setting tools for the eyelets? I thought a professional would use a press
nice job
Even if they look like stripper boots, idk why that should hold you back. It reminds me of men who don't wish to wear pink because they think it's a girl's color
Wow, this is impressive work. Giving them to Ben is a waste his taste in boots is a little yuppie.
no pull on loop? it is better
🗣️🎙️
jaja Boot Camp
Reusing eyelets? Are you sick in the head? That's going to shred your laces like a cheese grater.
The videos are great but what's with the sound? Reminds me of listening to someone chewing gum way too loudly. Is this asmr type of thing?
Before was stunning! After: "Meh". To each his own I guess… ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
