- King Charles is to resume some public engagements after encouraging progress in his cancer treatment, Buckingham Palace has said.
However it won't be a full return to official engagements for the King, who began his treatment in February.
The type of cancer has not been disclosed. The palace said the King’s doctors were "very encouraged by the progress made so far and remain positive about the King's continued recovery". However they said it was “too early to say” how much longer his treatment would continue.
King Charles will begin his partial return to public engagements with a symbolic trip to a cancer treatment centre. The palace said he would undertake more external engagements and host a state visit by the Emperor and Empress of Japan.
A picture of the King and Queen Camilla, taken earlier this month in the gardens of Buckingham Palace, has been released.

A series of useless visits, when he is not in one of his 20 plus mansions with 24/7 police surveillance, (cost?) when he does nothing except such "jobs" as cutting tapes to "open" something, like his son William .

I know, wait until I tell Woody.EXE now tomorrow morning about this news. He’s going to be so relieved after he continued stressing about my own mental health since Charles announced his diagnosis and I almost stepped down as the Queen but I didn’t want to give Woody.EXE more stress since he’s gone through enough hell already with almost losing me his own Queen to an illness in 2023. I still continued my duty under my concerns; Wales won’t be Wales without me and Woody.EXE in it and we both still continue our service nearly 2 years on despite everything we’ve gone through

I’ve heard rumours that Charles is very unwell and my nightmares might come true in the coming days. I dreamt of watching normal tv and it got interrupted to announce that Charles had died and I was ligit freaking out. I cried all night after that
THE Kings address to the public was very moving to say the least. Service, service I have come to find when I have thought things couldn't get any tuffer serving God , Jesus Christ, the father, the son, and holy Spirit all efforts lost and my faith tested to it's almost breaking point, out of know where along came a miracle. No matter how small or grand it has been at times, blessings I have been given when I would have lease expected it. Praise GOD 🙏

He has been doing a full days work since his diagnosis & chemo therapy. He has just not been taking all the walkabouts.

I’ve been to the oncology center 5 times and those receiving treatment looked sick, yellow and bald! He’s certainly not receiving the same treatment as everyone else or something else is going on!!

Anybody going through chemo regardless of how rich or how poor you are, is difficult. Emotionally and physically. Best of luck to both.

@@mikeyacson9542 My hair did not fall out with chemo. In my case, the side effect is neuropathy which I will have to live with. But I'm alive :)
@@rabit818 You must be a rare one, every time they show chemotherapy, even in young people, they lose their hair, I don't think Charlie has had it, it is just a sympathy ploy.
