It is important to establish that these pastors did have a choice in their response to ministry as did all other members who have been exposed to the same compelling teachings. There are also by far many other pastors in this church both full time pastors and lay pastors as well as missionaries who have not suffered this middle age crisis these pastors are suffering. Many have done well and continue to do very well under the same leadership that these ones have served. One common thread I see in the stories is the near mental breakdown over transfers. But transfers are extremely common in ministry and even in secular work. What is the big deal? If you establish a poultry farm in Begoro to augment your income, remember that when the day of transfer comes, whether you are a bank manager, police man, teacher or pastor, you are unlikely to take be able to take the infrastructure with you. I will also be very surprised the church has an agreement with its pastors that they can build branches and take them! I note that the account here puts that assertion in inverted commas. I would like to know the motive of these pastors for approaching media houses and publishing the accounts such as we read here. The stories are one sided! Not a single positive thing has been said by these pastors about their bishop or the church. Let’s be very careful, all of us.
It is important to establish that these pastors did have a choice in their response to ministry as did all other members who have been exposed to the same compelling teachings. Not everyone made the choices they did. Ultimately we can’t blame others for choice we exercise.
There are also by far many other pastors in this church both full time pastors and lay pastors as well as missionaries who have not suffered this middle age crisis these pastors are suffering. Many have done well and continue to do very well under the same leadership that these ones have served.
One common thread I see in the stories is the near mental breakdown over transfers. But transfers are extremely common in ministry and even in secular work. What is the big deal? If you establish a poultry farm in Begoro to augment your income, remember that when the day of transfer comes, whether you are a bank manager, police man, teacher or pastor, you are unlikely to take be able to take the infrastructure with you.
I will also be very surprised the church has an agreement with its pastors that they can build branches and take them! I note that the account here puts that assertion in inverted commas.
It suggest to me that it is metaphoric rather than a literal point. Let us be careful, lest we fan into flames matters we haven’t verified.
I would like to know the motive of these pastors for approaching media houses and publishing the accounts such as we read here. After all they appear to have gone to court for relief concerning their SSNIT contributions. If they are not happy with the church, I believe they have resigned. If the church owes them money, they have gone to court. So going to the media houses what is the reason? This is not about justice denied, this is a concerted effort to disgrace both the founder of the church that the church itself…. the man and the place that gave them the fame they once so cherished and enjoyed. Only the immature will fail to understand that such things have a consequence.
I think this whole episode is so sad and there is no guarantee that these pastors will find the relief or release they actually do need.
In my humble opinion they have yet again fumbled at exercising the option that would be most suitable for themselves in these matters.
But we will leave it to time and watch as God judges between men for the sake of his church.

Heward-Mills, who was an accomplished and famous lawyer, and that Bishop Dag is a qualified medical doctor who qualified in 1989, and that Lady Reverend Adelaide, his wife, is an accomplished lawyer too, whose father had several houses in Ghana, you will recognize that they didn't accept the call of God because they were looking for money.

The investment his ministry makes into reaching out lives, as far as I live, giving out books, doing crusades, training pastors of other churches using money, surely is testimony of excellence in value creation and value delivery using finances.
