The redness from the tattoo would've been from the needle. Also when it's healing make sure you don't completely soak it for the next week as it'll start to loose colour. To clean it use warm water, a small flannel and a bit of soap dab it on the tattoo and gently wash it off, creams you can use could be Bepanthen or b5 panthenol. Don't use Savlon as it washes out the ink, also be careful when you're washing your hands because you don't want to completely soak it. Finger tattoos are so quick but very painful and so awkward when you first get them done 😩😂 if you also see the tattoo peeling don't pull it off just use a towel or something to clean it

With your tattoo Saff, use a Simple soap bar with warm water, and dab the tattoo with cotton wool, then pat it with a towel, then apply bepanthen do this 4 times a day for about a week, then use Normal moisturiser like Nivea or something, worked with all 5 of mine xx
