Inuyama Tamaki mentioned that it's hard to collab with holo recently (even for him who used to collab with them frequently enough to be considered a joke member) because they're ridiculously busy. I mean, there's the upcoming VSaikyo tournament, which will see Holomems joining up with or going against other vtubers in APEX. One of the teams even includes Matsuri and Sara.
They have a lot of Holo members to collab for, to begin with. That alone makes it kind of "unnecessary" to having collab outisde of Hololive, except for specific reasons.
I can see this being something close to Suisei's heart. Like she mentioned, she herself was a really struggling indie. Even with all her talent she was barely hanging on, well past when she realistically should have quit. So she really knows what the Indie struggle is like. Even at the top now she's never forgotten what it was like at the bottom. Sasuga Sui-chan.
I never watched nor particulary cared about either of them, but I still cried with her because of how lovely this act of promotion is. Small companies like her's really just need one small trigger to blow up and make everyone known.
