- Sheikh Jamel Tahiri continues the cycle of analysis to bring an additional element in the spiritual quest. He returns to the challenging subject of the 5 senses. Challenging because all our actions are carried out through the 5 senses. Man has indeed 5 physical senses because we have a reality of earth. He also has 5 spiritual senses which are the manifestation of man's spiritual reality. These must take the power of the body so that man can see not only the apparent but also the hidden aspect of things. The hope of the believing man lies in the hereafter, which is his home. When man discovers his reality through the Signs and the message of the Prophets then he becomes a witness and sees things in a different way.
This brings us the knowledge of God. God wants to make himself known. However, man's problem is that he wants to know Him through the 5 physical senses.
In the beginning, God wanted to make Himself known and loved, that is why He created creation. How to know God and get to know Him? Especially when we discover a truth, we remain fixed to this truth while God wants his creature to be always in search so that he may be in a continuous process of renewal.
Going towards God is a process that requires a lot of effort and endurance. This quest requires being ready to sacrifice the great convictions anchored in us. Man must be ready to give up everything so that God will reward him with his knowledge.
What are the goals of the divine Word? What are the goals of all the stories told in the Book? One of the goals is to make ourselves known through the Book. Our Imams tell us that if we want to talk with God then we must read the Book. How do we get to this level and stage of reading?
God wants to bring us to this stage where when we read it God speaks to us and makes Himself known. If we become aware of this, then we enter into a dimension where we get to know God and God reveals Himself to us.
When we discover a truth, a reality, a dimension of our being that we didn't know and that makes us enter into a spiritual shock, then we have the impression that we have reached the end of the road. Man has the impression that he has discovered the truth. Man then enters a dimension where there is no evolution. If man wants to bring the best of humanity then he must be in an evolutionary process.
This process is the solid cable that binds us to God and allows us to understand the revelation.
In short, it is essential in the spiritual process to approach things through the eyes of the soul and the heart.
Sheikh Jamel Tahiri returns to the questioning he opened through the subject of the prime number 19, which is predestination or free will. Our Imams tell us that it is something in between. God has the knowledge of all things. And in His knowledge He decrees. Where do we men stand?
There is a Divine narrative where God addresses the Prophet David where He says to him: "O my servant, you want and I want and there will be only My will. If you do what I want, I will give you what you want, but if you don't do what I want, I will wear you out on what you want and in the end there will be only what I want".
We are free to make the choice to enter into God's will. If we enter into His will then we disappear and what remains is His will. This is the divinity that manifests itself through His creatures. We live in the divine reality.
Verse 41, from Sura Yusuf:
"O my two fellow prisoners! One of you will give wine to drink to his master, and the other will be crucified, and the birds will eat from his head. The matter on which you consult me is already decided. »
When God has made a decree, there is no one who can change it. This means that God, Revealer and Creator, says to man: "enter into my decree, want what I want, be what I want and you will be free to be in the decree that God has decided for man".
If we are in this decree then we have all the tools to go to the knowledge of God. God reveals Himself to whomever He wants and His Book is there for man to be in contact with God.
