And mind you, it pays better than any Class 1 job in India (even for class C jobs there is a gigantic competition) with good quality of life. In recent years living expenses have gone through the roof though. But hardworking PPL are positive still.
99 % of students who go to Canada are kachra only (academically) they go for PR and quality of life. Who couldn't secure admission to any above average college in India.

Else please don't destroy your healthy comfortable lifestyle in India. It breaks my heart to see educated middle aged men & women from India are doing Uber eats or working in Walmart. What is the future of international students in Canada
According to the Globe and Mail newspaper there are over 1,000,000 international students in Canada. A large number of them are from India.
    1. Indian students often come to Canada after spending 20-25 lakh rupees
    2. Often 4-5 people live in a basement
    3. Many students become victims of depression
    4. They often live on junk food
    5. Work for minimum wage
    6. Even after completing diploma most of them do labor jobs
International students come to Canada to get PR. It takes a total of 5 years to get PR.
Now the question arises that what will be their future after getting PR?
Will they be able to live a good life? Will you be able to get your own house? Can rent a 2 bedroom apartment for 2500 dollars per month?
Health facilities in Canada are almost zero, what if one of their family members needs medical assistance? Canada's education system produces high school kids like robots, would they be happy putting their children in such a system?
I mean they come here as students leaving their parents alone and spending lakhs of rupees for 5 years to get Canada PR to have a better life than India, is that the right way to go?

Nice motivating guys despite their struggles. I am living and working in Belgium, where there are job opportunities for highly skilled IT workers, and specialised medical workers. Other works, it is very difficult, as employers prefer their own native people, or EU cititzens! Employing Asians, Africans etc is too complicated, time consuming, and much more expensive for them. Recently I see more and more Indian students, at Belgian universities doing their masters or PHD research programme. I wonder if they ever get any job opportunities here after their studies?!
I met a man from Kerala, who came here on visit visa two times to search jobs! But he had to return back to his job in India. In any Schengen country it was not even allowed to search for work when one is on tourist visa. All the money spend for flight, visa, paper works and accomodation here ( Belgium is expensive country) was for nothing. On the other hand, I know very specialised skilled engineers from India working here for years, leading a good life...having nice company cars, good salary. Two of them I know was hired here from India directly...not through any agents! They had written exams online, job interviews all online. And it is not easy, as there are many competition from people from other countries as well. Lucky few ones get jobs

In india people have started working with their colleges, get paid and do their own household chores. well educated and growth comes to whom who is ready to work in right direction with patience. lot of people have started to understand that staying back is a good option unless u get an admission into a very reputed institution or a good job opportunity. Dynamics are different in every country people should acknowledge that and try to build their career trajectory accordingly. because building a career base and job experience in another means u r completely dependant on other country for everything including ur citizenship. we r seeing drawbacks already as USA, Australia,UK etc have stopped granting pr. things were different 10-20 years ago. Might be a person will take few more years to have same standard of living compared to other country but no one can kick him out of his country.

  • @mayurgandhi5576
    @mayurgandhi5576 Год назад +4

@7:40 Only reason people come to Canada for PR because easy steps after student visa and after PR easy to get Citizenship quickly. USA is hard to get any type of work or student visa. Mostly students visa holders are Bachelors or Master Degree holders in USA. In Canada 50 % students after grade 12 or Diploma holders. By saying that USA is best for Education and Employment. Because 80% Canadian economy depends on US economy. That's why most Gujaratis choose USA over Canada, UK, Australia or NZ, since last 50 years. USA have 50 metro cities with more than Half Million population, Canada have only 5 and those are isolated, not for trade and tourism.

So better you learn French and become a great communicator as francophone. You will never regret inputting time and resources in French skills. I myself work for a municipal corporation in Ontario but I regret I couldn't learn French. You guys are very young and have time to grow further.

In Canada Federal and Provincial Governments are just interested in their money
    1. Colleges and Universities charge 4-5 times fees from international students, but don't provide hostels, and proper transportation. Also in many universities, additional class rooms aren't built, and some classes have up to 300 or more students. International students contribute $22 Billion per year to Canadian economy.
    2. Canada is getting more immigrants so that they can contribute to Canadian economy as consumers, and taxpayers. Canada doesn't care if those people get sufficient housing, education and transportation facilities.
    3. More than 1000 Canadian doctors who study abroad, are denied
residencies, but foreign doctors are given residencies as they give money to medical schools.

From what gather from this interview that these students are not top notch students academically. all there are interested in the Canadian PR. The fact that joined community colleges or colleges whose degrees are not worth the paper they are printed on.
I have lived in Canada for more that 30 years, interviewed and hired student from Waterloo, University of Toronto, Queens etc
    No sympathy

Videos such as these are very useful. Students should try to only go for masters degrees where possible. They should also do degrees on stem fields. Canada lowers the education standards to get students and earn tuition and then the students are not marketable. Do lot of research before going to Canada for education.
