Well, all the made men are the end of their runs with the clients and partners who enabled them to be made… might as well figure out how to connect with, serve and guide the next wave.
This sort of reminds me of a time when I tweeted Erykah Badu (I know that's kind of random). But I asked her if she had hope in the next generation that comes after them... and she simply said "You guys stand on our shoulders. u R our Eyes". Something that I'll never forget as I get older. I'm also glad that they brought up the idea of when THEY realized that they were smarter than their parents. lol It just goes to show the amount of humility that some successful people are able to gain when they realize that they're still able to learn... ESPECIALLY from younger generations. They each probably have multiple books of experiences and lessons that they can pass down to all of us. But they've come to realize that the younger generations also have a completely different set of books of experiences that they will probably never get to experience themselves. I just love that they showed a great amount of modesty by highlighting Cordae and Druski's knowledge and perspectives.
That... on top of making sure the athlete comes first before the money. That type of consideration and understanding that NOTHING happens or can come to happen without the well being of the people he represents first, is probably the most admirable quality of anybody in the world of agents/management. I feel like everybody gets so caught up in making sure that they are taken care of, that they forget that (like he mentioned) they are in the SERVICE business. I love that he brought up telling his kid to work in the restaurant industry first if they plan on becoming an agent. It just shows how much awareness he has of what his profession actually means to the people he's working for.
@@OnewYork lol bro, I have. And again, he needs more 😂 I even watched their entire more than an athlete on ESPN+ Rich got hella gems still give out Lmao

My twin brother got me watching The Shop podcast a few weeks ago and now I'm hooked and so grateful! About today's show, Wow, loved the pod today! Your guests were a great mix and you guys asked some really good questions. I learned a lot about Cordae and appreciated that he stays true to his craft and his audience. As for the Druski whom I didn't know because I'm not in that world, it was a joy to hear about his humble beginnings. His family sounded like most black and brown families 😂! Steve Stoute drops some major gems on entrepreneurship, it's challenges and knowing when's the right time to do a collaboration or not. Now Rich Paul was so impressive. His expertise in the business was quite palpable in his verbiage and amazing to hear 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾! It's no wonder he has been so successful!
I thought I was the only one that caught that 😂 Stoute be living a wild life on the go. He be surprised he sitting down for so long but he’s always working, and working the room.
Dawg druski has a tour where he be pulling ppl from the city to do coulda been records for 45 Mins!!!! 45 where he comments 2 words.. that boy on a fineesseee tour!! 100-500 a ticket for 45 mins of work is nastyyyyyy
I appreciate the focus on authentic uplifting conversation. I always learn something while being entertained. Kudos for giving future generations a model for hard work and smarts to to accomplish goals. Well done!
I love seeing Cordae’s rise 🫶🏾 he has hit the authentic status! Hearing these older dudes wisdom is so inspiring. It’s important to speak to younger people and give them the tools to succeed 💜
That was a bar, especially the follow up that elaborates it. When he said that,it is situational. That's the contextual nature of life. Never remove nor forget to add context,or you can't objectively make sense of it.

Druski is what we call back in Tanzania "Mtoto wa Kishua". Some are being rappers/comedians because they have pure talent and some that talent is forced out because of the hardship they go through. Druski did it just because he could.
I like how they make the focus Cordae and Druski. The rest of the guys are made men but the focus is on the youth and those influencing the youth rn
Cool that they spoke on their “slights” and business flaws as made men as well. Picking up the gems from both side is critical. 💎
Well, all the made men are the end of their runs with the clients and partners who enabled them to be made… might as well figure out how to connect with, serve and guide the next wave.
Man, they should’ve had me on this shit. These fools don’t know shit. I never heard of them.

I remember a few years ago existing agents feared him. They even tried to implement rules with the league to block him.
