Finally, someone who figured it out with Sapphire/steel. We've been youtubed by other content ceeators to constantly ramp. Ward is the way to go. I like Big tink. I use Fortisphere sometimes to protect with a smee. Just so a Maui can't rush into Ariel right away if board is clear. Robin Hood gets wrecked all the time. Ice block has been a issue too. Ward is needed. I've even cut my Hiram and play The Knokk now and Wendy Darling. I play baby Cogs to for shift too.
@@lerak8452that’s one card though. Hiram is the best draw engine in the game and even better with fortisphere. You play around things like brawl not remove key cards. That’s the hole don’t play X bc Y exists mindset, it needs to be answered regardless and even if it get removed you still get to draw two cards then they spend resources to remove it.
@carbonadam13 it was until set 4. He can't attack or quest for much. If you play a Captian, it's better with smee, but I wouldn't play him much without Captain, smee as your 1,2, 3 mIckey or quil, 4 Hiram. You need something to attack Queens Castle.
@@lerak8452Hiram has nothing to do with queens castle. It’s your draw engine. How do you draw cards and get card advantage? Hook, smee, mickey rids castle I agree. But steel has tools for locations as well like Rise and Zeus. Still doesn’t warrant dropping your draw engine
I actually loved the strategy. I like McDuckMannor a lot because it's a way to slap R/A's castle in the race. A great aggresive way to deal against hard matchups
What do you think of ariels grotto. It's only 2 cost and has 7 health. All you need is 3 items in play which shouldn't be hard for this deck. It nets you 2 lore every turn
Love the detailed explanation! Question, what would you mulligan for against RA? I feel like stuff like Maui will handle McDuck Manor or Be King Undisputed goes around Kit/Ariel. Like what would your turn play lines be?
I play something similar in locals , but had Chen po and belle instead of the Ariel’s and herc s , Will definitely be trying them out , thanks for video very helpful
I love how unique your decklist is compared to other SS decks. I def want to run this during the championships, Since its hard to obtain AWNW at this time what would you suggest for the replacements?

Also I’d like to point out that the kit shift line is a 10% chance to happen even with mulling 14 cards. That doesn’t seem consistent enough to rely on
@@carbonadam13 also I keep my one drop and if I don’t see the big one he still has ward so I end up still getting the shift by drawing the big one a few turns later .
Hey, I really like the look of this version. What are your early.plays when you don't see cloudkicker, or only see one of them? Do you got for a pawpsicles, smeez fishbone, Hiram line? Would love some more in depth mulligan advice, and some other play lines
Hard part of the deck isn’t the mulligan or the early lines it’s more about the midgame and how you handle those scenarios, inking wrong cards , when to become agroo or when to become control… this version values questing more than control unlike other versions.
Thanks for the replies! In the video you put a lot of emphasis on the 3 shift. But that obviously requires both cloudkickers by turn 3. Do you aggressively mulligan for them every time? That seems too inconsistent?

i feel like tritons decree might be better then canons if you dealing with a just a bucky, after outing the diablo or aladdin. Gets around the ward keyword.
Fire the Canons should be dropped completely and should be replaced with Ba-Boom since they're inkable... Also, throwing in one Avalanche wouldn't be a bad idea
@@maugzsr556 deck doesn’t have a high uninkable count so I don’t think a card should be “auto dropped” just cause is uninkable. And yea avalanche is a pretty good 1/2 of I would consider to add if the room is full of green steel , it just feels bad that the card ain’t that good vs anything else other than green steel.
Would you make any changes to this? Going to run it this weekend at my local store, but worried as most of my locals are Steel Song would you still recommend this?

Yea the goal is to get it’s value early the shift 3 n maybe one more quest after that .. if it got you multiple quests or value with singing multiple songs than it did its job. Plus it demands an answer so they are forced to drop those cards.
@@legeis94 Hercules trades 2 characters all the time unless it’s Maui but them losing a maui is critical. Chien po is nice cause is one cost cheaper. There is no wrong answer they are both great bodyguards tbh. I like Hercules cause I can challenge things back with 6strength on him .
I have a major problem with any Cloudkicker build. It adds gimmicks to a deck that doesn’t need it. And it also makes your top decks worse Top decking a small Kit will give very minimal pressure. Top decking a Big Kit while is a decent dime target, I’d rather it be an Ariel or big tinkerbell most of the time or I’d rather it be a tamatoa that can Quest much more comfortably without the risk of getting blown out by a Maui. Even the agro line with the Kit shift plus Smee into Mcduck mannor, while strong and aggro esc; it doesn’t further your overall gameplan at all and you’d have to start your build up much later in the game than you’d like. It doesn’t ramp, doesn’t always play items, doesn’t develop a draw engine like Hiram. This is why it’s been so unpopular. It’s gimmicky and can hold the deck back if it gets answered.

@@animefreak2438 this build was primarily build when Blue red and green steel where mainly in the format. Now that blue red has fallen off, and purple red is as popular as it is . This build would simply not be the same. Lorcana evolves like every two weeks so it does actually make sense if this built has gotten way weaker due to the meta shift

They’re are so many different routes to take depending on matchup or depending on what u have in hand and how curve will go. I been on the cloutkicker since last set so it may be a little easier for me since I’m used to the mulligans by now. It’s a hard question to answer .

Funny deck, but not finding both Kit parts early will just leave you in a worse position since ramping is what makes BS good That and BS mirrors will be a horrible experience But still, something I'm going to try out and see if there's a way to include Mickeys This way you'll always have a solid turn 3 Could definitely work, since the Kits basically replace queen + items in the Queens build Thanks for sharing! In green steel the matchup u never have to ramp also in blue red if u go fast enough to doesn’t matter. In the other matchups I still go quill ramp ramp ramp whole new world sing

1 pawpsicle
2 smee
3 fisbone
4 cogsworth or any 5 drop

How does this deck feel against R/A?
50/50 matchup gets way better when u replace the two cannons for “smash” or adding a 4th copy of along came zeus
Also two rise of titans is probably better if u expect a lot of R/A

Seems slow, how does it fare against an aggro deck or the Bucky meta?
Shift 3 sing grab . Also Smee. - agroo
Bucky Green steel is your easiest matchup .
How does it feel against redfasa?
I usually win but it’s not an “easy” matchup .. u have to become the agroo player. Hercules n let it go help in that matchup
