Just my opinion but I completely regret having my gallbladder out. I still have pain in that area and it's been 9 years. There are alternatives to having surgery. Do your research. I can't process meats very well now especially beef because the bile has no place to be stored to help break down the fats etc from meats. There are many doctors on RUclips such as Bob and Brad that speak on topics of various types.
I very much appreciate Bob and Brad physical therapists videos. I have received valuable information to ease pain and rehab for a knee injury from last winter caused by slipping on hidden ice. I subscribe to the channel and rarely pass up any videos offered. Thank you for taking the time to share your knowledge and experience and time for us lay people. 💖

I had to have emergency gall bladder surgery. The surgeon I had was awesome. She was formerly a surgeon on an aircraft carrier. She took the time to visit me the next day in the hospital. I was fortunate to have her.

It's been extremely difficult and frustrating finding someone right for me and I still haven't. It seems here they all don't have much care for patients and let everybody wait all day past their appointment times, no organization and very rude. Literally all of them.

My insurance company pays for annual physical 100%. But when I go to my doctor for scheduled physical, they still charge me something. When I asked why. They said it was because I asked questions and doctor gave me a prescription. So basically a free physical means don’t open my mouth and don’t complain about anything. Sigh.

Your doctor is ripping you off. Get an itemized receipt. Reporting to your insurance company. And get a new doctor. It is improper billing.

I've suffered with Ocular Migraine with aura for about 17 years. They last for about 15 - 20 minutes, then they disappear. After this ordeal, I feel extremely exhausted, with occasional dull head pain. Almost 2 weeks ago, I got an aura, but it wasn't as bad as some recent ones before. After it subsided, I experienced a seisure/stroke-like episode, and had to be taken to the emergency room. Luckily for me, I knew what to take, but I felt like at the time like I was in a whirlwind, and there were times when I couldn't speak. Literally, if I moved one tittle - left or right, I would feel overwhelmed with dizziness. Now, I'm so concerned that I will have another episode like this. Do you have any suggestions on the type of specialist that I should be seeing, and maybe suggest some reccomendations in the Southeast area - near Georgia. I appreciate you both for all your help.

You would probably need to find a good neurologist or a neuro-ophthalmologist. I am suffering from vestibular migraines. I have been dizzy constantly with eye pain & headaches for almost 2 years. It just came out of nowhere. I tried to get in to see someone at Mayo, but they would not see me. So I'm just trying to find a good doctor who can help me because this is miserable. I hope you found someone to help you, if not try a good neurologist. Good luck.

I just had a COVID breakthrough infection. I'm vaccinated and double boosted and could not get even a telehealth call with my primary. I had to go to Urgent Care. It's primary care is what's broken in this country. I desperately need to find someone new who I can trust.

Well, I was damaged by a medicine side effect, now I cant find a good doctor to help me diagnose the actual issue so that I may start possible rehabilitation. This wasnt much help unfortunately, as my issue is not doctors being called away, instead I cant find anyone who would actually spend the time diagnosing.

I can’t believe you are recommending PHysician assistants and nurse practitioners over physicians! Physicians study 11 years minimum to be a physician while NP and PA they study 2 yrs to 1.5 yr and you are recommending 2 yrs of knowledge over 11 yrs of knowledge! Are you serious?! People take control of your health and look at the physician’s degrees, honors and experiences and don’t take your health for granted!

The training that physicians receive is incomparable. When it comes to one's health, it should be a no-brainer to see the person with the best expertise.
