I swear when I look at these cards they remind me of my old evga gtx 770. Someone should make one of the intel gpus look like an old card and get a nice short out of it
Can't wait to see AMD 8000 and see what comes out of arm-based GPU out of Isreal also. I think all Nvidia will be more expensive than ever, 5090 #3-4K and lowest tier card around or over $1K
I know they're an expensive brand but if you think we're getting a $1k+ 5060 you've completely gone off the deep end
I’ve been an AMD guy since I got back into PC building. I’m generally anti-Intel (have been since Ryzen) but it’s really refreshing to hear reviewers get excited about a product after the letdowns the past few years.
Jay, Please Be my dad!!!😭
Our dad 😭
The Tech Dad @shadyonej . Gamer Nexus is Daddy. Linus is the "fun uncle".
And mine please
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Wtf 😐
Remember, boils and ghouls. This is also their first round driver. Competing against established cards with many drivers since their release. Id imagine..and am confident in saying.. that further driver updates will only see these performance numbers increase. Pre-ordered and on the way. Cant wait to test this b580 card. This is a win for all.
the fact that you get more than 60 fps on cyberpunk 1440p is awesome for a 250$ card, seems like finally you can make a stronger pc than console for the same price
Tom Peterson = Legend 🤓
I am a unicorn style builder. While this isn't exciting for me for purchase, this is exciting for the market. Love it
More competition in the GPU space is a fantastic thing.
I've been waiting for battlemage before even considering Intel. Having seen that the B580 is doing so good... I'm extremely tempted now to pull the trigger. Sitting on a 2070 non-super since it came out. Finally an upgrade that isn't also going to be overpriced. It's lovely to see, and I'm willing to deal with any issues/drivers/etc now that it's not an issue in nearly every single game.
Man I wish this card existed when I first started pc gaming. The new budget builds for entry level gamers are going to look amazing
This will be perfect for upgrading old components into a secondary light-gaming PC... I'll be getting one.
This is exactly what I have been looking for. No other new options out there. Now just waiting for release and stock to be available!
Jay I'm glad you brought up the power draw. Please always add that into your test. That's what really matters to me.
That generational leap is incredible, as is the price/performance ratio. I’m getting one. What a timeline we live in, where budget-minded gamers should be reaching for AMD CPUs and Intel GPUs!
I have been following you for possibly two months as I prepared to make a flight simulator rig. I deeply enjoy your content. Specifically, thanks for this review. Intel discrete graphics have my attention for this generation for sure. On subsequent builds
Absolutely considering a B580 now. Would love to see more competition in the GPU market period.
I wish people outside US could buy these "consumer friendly" stuff that Americans claim about. Since cards like 6700xt and 7600xt are 400$+ and rare as unicorns while 4060 are 280-290.
Not so consumer friendly if you don't live in the US
@@dvornikovalexei the US is their main consumer market.
I'd liked to have seen the 1% lows, but thank you, Jay!!
Love you!!
"Nerd talk aside" *Proceeds to talk about a GPU for a whole video* 😆
The GPU market needs more competition, and I am glad to see Intel getting to it.
I'll give Intel some credit here. Its holding its own for a budget card
No RGB? That's a bonus.
based on the limited reviews so far I would defiantly consider this for an entry level computer for someone looking to just game.
Thank you, Pat Gelsinger, for keeping Arc on life support! I hope the market reaction will convince the new Intel management to keep investing in Arc.
The driver updates for Archmage were enough to make me consider. Now if the launch goes well I'll straight up start recommending it.
Jay. Only CCs like yourself and the ultra-gamer crowd are used to the huge, heavy and power sucking graphics cards. Most of us still use smaller lighter, lower power cards, so these new ARC cards are more like what we'd expect.
@@Thurgosh_OG dude, a 2 fan 3060 is huge compared to my 960.
I really hope Intel can provide competitive cards in all tiers. This is promising. I recall AMD struggling after buying out ATI for awhile.
My A770 has done me well, nice to see I was ahead of the curve in getting the underdog.
Intel coming in as the hero we've been looking for almost 5 years now. Might look into one of these to replace my aging 5700
Thanks for throwing the 3070 in the mix, I was actually curious about that.
It is the perfect entry level prebuild gaming card. I hope they sell a bunch of those.
With this price, you can achieve a reasonable and capable gaming pc for 500 bucks.
I wish I could upgrade from myAMD FirePro v5900 right now but broke and my PSU is one of those pre-built custom ones. 🙁 ☹️ 😔 😟 😞
I’m glad there’s a third maker in the mix and to see them really coming into their own. I’ve been concerned with software/drivers during first generation but I’m totally willing to build a PC around Battle Mage. It wouldn’t be my main machine but I’d like to see it in action
jeez, the 3070 FE is that much better than the 4060?
Yes, the 4060 really was a disappointment
The fact that I might actually have a worthwhile upgrade over my 2070super at a reasonable price feels so nice. Will wait for the 70 series intel card (or whatever they're calling it)
Seeing a card back in the 250 range that is actually worth looking at is such good news for any average gamer! Will also be interesting to see what a bigger B7xx card, with like 32 core base will be able to do.
Damn man. Same/better performance for 250 bucks? That's solid price/performance. Nvidia and AMD need to step their game up on the budget end.
Love the detailed power testing Jay!
I appreciate this. I am hoping someone finally does some 3D rendering / Blender tests. That's all the info I'm waiting for amongst the gaming results.
This is huge. I want a B770 that punches above 70 class at $350-$400.
I'd love to see what a B770 would do but I keep hearing from multiple places that this probably wont happen anytime in the near future.
It will be nice to see some competition now with better pricing.
Can't wait for laptops to come out with Intel dedicated GPU
If Intel can keep hitting efficiency levels like this, they will probably do well in countries where electricity is expensive
This is a call to Intel to keep this lineup going. We want to see them succeed at this and really put pressure on AMD and Nvidia to care about the low end of graphics again.
After the first time you showed the A770 cards I switched mine and my kids cards out a few days later, just waiting for them to be available in my region and the orders will go out again.
Been a few drivers issues at the launch of Arc but they improved and by a lot so can not wait to try these cards as well.
I had no idea how powerful 3070 is damn that card holding it's first quite high
Didn't even realize this was posted a minute ago
May have to buy this, just to support Intel. We desperately need competition in the GPU industry, and by the looks of it, Battlemage is ready to fight!
I think Intel has a great architecture with this gen. Next gen im optimistic they can compete in mid and high end. Really promising.
Seeing the performance numbers for the B580 makes me even more hyped for what Intel has in store for the future Arc 7 flagship cards.
As someone rocking an RX 590 who was looking at the 7600xt at $330ish. This has me sooooo intrigued.
