  • This is a continuation of the video "What's Wrong with the left?"
The goal of this series is to go over the denial of truth as it manifests itself in mainstream culture. Deeper videos, critiquing empiricism and materialism DEFINITELY will be posted in the future, but, as per sticking to the goal, I wanted to focus less on what is wrong with empiricism as a belief, in-and-of-itself, and more on how empiricism is weaponized to reject truth.

I just wanted to make a quick correction based on my experience with abstract math. Technically math does not require physical reality as a guide. The parts which are applicable to the physical world get the most attention, but they are by no means the whole of math. If you look up the Banach-Tarski paradox, for example, you can clearly tell that it doesn't comport with reality. But it's not an issue because ultimately our use of continuous mathematics despite our discrete (quantized) existence is understood as a highly accurate estimate given the multiplicities involved.

dont mind me just commenting for the algorithm. i really enjoy your videos and if growing makes you keep making em ill do my part. quick q does the length of the coment matter or does one comment count as one comment to the algorthm? cheers

I have no idea. The inner workings of RUclips are a mystery to me compared to familiar grounds like tiktok.

Sometimes I get confused by what people actually mean by rationalism and empiricism, but for me the two differentiate theyselfs in one thing: innate ideas. You see, of course we believe in metaphysical statements such as that the external worlds exists and other mores, but we do it because of your senses, that make us believe in this thing called world. For me, yes intuition is really importante, but it seems that intuition is simply a product of habit or of imagination, which both come from experience to me, I dont think we can imagine things without interference from the external world, everything we imagine is because of some experience we had.

Not nearly as incomplete as your argument. Like, I'm sure what you hoped to accomplish with this comment.
Put yourself in my shoes and assume you're right: how does this in anyway pass as criticism? What Am I supposed to do with this? You didn't tell me what aspect of my understanding in regards to math, you didn't tell me what part of the video you were referencing, and you didn't even try to give a reason.
Like, do you want me to go re-take algebra through calc 3, is this a joke, or..... is this just some mindless copium?
