Here's a little piece I started late last year which is almost an homage to my older works. Not just because of the type of music but also because it's in free tempo, meaning that I didn't use any metronome nor are the notes "on the grid" which is the way I used to compose back then.
Last time I've used a male singer for the first time in my works. In this piece I've used it again but I've also used something which is new to my music as well. A beautifully sampled Saxophone.

So sad.. Both of my parents are gone and it's very hard... But Grieve NOT.. for you WILL See him again in bodily form in the Great White Throne judgement in just over 1000 years as he and billions more will be resurrected to physical life and learn of God's true ways. My parents will also return at that time with the billions of others throughout history. See Revelation 21 and Ezekiel 37

This image along with the song make me imagine that the man has recently loss the love of his life and is still grieving and is remembering the good times they had together or she left him for someone else and he has not gotten over that she left cause he still loves her deeply and is remembering when they both were in love.
Beautiful music just to think about, relax and enjoy 😌 Also to reflect why certain people step into someone else's life. Coincidence or destiny? There are a few that are easy to forget, but others will be remembered for a lifetime because they have found a place in your heart ❤️
I also have to admit that I have to think about the Anime movie "Your Name", I don't know why 🥺 I think it's the piano melody and the title 🙂

What an interesting combination of instruments and timbres! I love the mix of traditional orchestral string and brass instruments and piano, with saxophone, male voice, and french horn solo! It lends a very unique and very touching feel to the whole piece!
