Surprised McHenry transferred to PSU. As undersized as he's always been, stealing the spot from Braeden was unlikely to happen last year, and Luke's an even bigger challenge this year. That said, even an undersized Kurt looks like an NCAA qualifier - at worst - anywhere else. Seeing him escape Luke's ankle pick in the first, and his athleticism more generally, a spot on the podium in March doesn't seem impossible. Regardless, he'd surely start at plenty of competitive D1 programs. Is he at PSU for potential Senior level success? I don't recall seeing him in any freestyle brackets while at Michigan, nor last year, and without a sub 57kg weight available, such a pursuit seems unlikely. Quite the headscratcher, to be sure, but just imagine the career he might've had if 118 remained the lowest NCAA weight class?
I agree with everything you just said, its sucks he was really undersized when he got to college. Wish he was able to put on more weight in high school. Sucks to see someone who was that talented never really pan out.
@sshhhhh9227 nah this will put ur wrestlers that's trying to win a world title after or why in college all within a pound or so even.5 so makes sense to set it up like that
Lee was crazy good in highshool and the free style circuit but he was plagued by knee issues, I don't see Luke being as good as Spencer. However, he probably will end up with a better record and has a good chance at 4 titles
@@MaamPhoenix cool??? Lilledahl could very well do the same thing. He legit just started obviously he’s not as dominant 😂. Just teched the 21st guy, without tilts.
Like a lighter version of Messenbrink. So fun to watch. That 2nd round match was great!
This guy is special

Not as dominant as Spencer Lee was but may have a better collegiate career
No
A true freshman not as dominant as someone who’s completed their collegiate career 😱😱😱😱
