- Varieties of Jackfruit recipes are prepared during jackfruit season. This is a tasty, crispy chips made out of jackfruit. Very simple recipe. Just chop the jackpods into uniform pieces and fry them in hot oil. You can add salt water at the end or add salt& chilli powder after taking out from oil.All jackfruits may not be suitable for making chips. The jackpods which are thin, comes out cripsy. Don't use thick & spongy jackpods for preparing chips.
It is accompanied with evening tea/coffee or as a time pass snack.

Me too, at home when we helped our elders when making bakshana for Shri Krishna Jayanthi, when making Seedais, we always were warned that if we got water or even the smallest speck of dirt into hot oil, it would literally explode and splash us, so we were a little scared usually :)
