Inspired by @JennaMarbles iconic makeup tutorial 10 years ago, I am spoofing my own catfish get ready with me routine and showing you all my dirty little beauty secrets! I am 61 years old and not interested in makeup, clothes, designers, high heels, or anything like that (and never have been). But I love watching your channel because you give such great advice to young women, and your heart really shows through as a loving and kind person. You are adorable. I usually don’t watch beauty channels. I used to be pretty high maintenance when I was younger. In the meantime I work 12 hour shifts and have 3 grandchildren I enjoy spending time with. I do love to tan, or will go to the tanning studios. I have my finger nails and toe nails done at a salon, as well as lash extensions since I don’t have the time or energy to put on a full face of makeup! I always plan a day to simultaneously perform beauty treatments - a hair glossing or deep conditioning treatment and a facial mask can work some magic while I use a body scrub and foot treatment afterwards. Sparkly and clean skin and feet are an absolute MUST in the summertime with sundresses and sandals. I enjoyed watching your routine. You are lovely, charming and witty. Part of Amber’s success on her I think is because she is still so chill even with so many subscribers and the videos are realistic and not super blurred trying to sell us this unrealistic perfection.
This was so much fun to watch! I’m 61 and I’m trying to lose weight. One of my “rewards” for dropping some pounds was treating myself to eyelash extensions. Then I started coloring in my eyebrows to give them a better shape. I saw another video encouraging us older ladies to wear red lipstick. (Darker shades, etc.). All of these things together have really helped my appearance. I’ve been complimented by other woman, young and old, about my makeup. I would encourage women everywhere to do what makes you feel good. Thanks for this video. I loved it!

Okay. You just reminded me why I loved doing my makeup. I've been going through this whole internal battle about whether it's "morally okay" for me to be doing my GLAM. We moved to a very conservative area and I never see women dressed up or literally even moisturizing their skin it seems like!!
I LOVE makeup...always have ever since, I was like 3 yrs old! I live in a town full hippies/tree huggers and tweakers! 😂 Normally I wouldn't be caught dead without my make done...some days I look and around, throw on some big sunglasses and off to the store I go! Haha

Because make up is so expensive. I haven't bought mascara in a year. Before that I went 3 years. I bought 3 tubes of lipstick 4 years ago and still use them. My eyeshadow is like 10 years old. Meh, I'd rather buy gifts for my kids and take them out.
Being gorgeous is completely morally OK!!!! It’s not a requirement of course 99% of the time I don’t wear make up because I’m chronically ill and I was having trouble with my eyes but on the days I feel well enough and I can do it. I feel like $1 million and I feel so happy But I know it doesn’t make me who I am but I just feel so happy as long as you feel wonderful and confident, this random woman supporter over here encourages you to feel amazing about yourself. My “trick” in the 80’s for thick looking eyebrows (like Brook shields because that was the style) I would take a soft bristled toothbrush, spray a little hairspray on it and comb my eyebrows upwards. This gave a beautiful full look, soon, all of my girlfriends started doing the same. In the 90’s, thin arched eyebrows were in - I’m glad the fuller look came back and probably to stay; it looks so much nicer.

Why can’t people understand that some women just enjoy make up. I work in aerospace which is a male dominated field. I dress down 6 days a week and smell like diesel throughout the workday. I enjoy dressing up and wearing makeup on the one day I have to myself. That doesn’t mean I don’t find myself beautiful in timberland pros and a natural face.
When I saw the title and the title shot, I thought, how doe she look so amazing and look like she has no makeup on at all? Then I realized. Girl, you're not just good looking, you are stunning, without all that goop.
I'm 56, so believe me when I say that most young people are far better looking than they think they are. Some day you'll look back on photos of yourself from 30 years ago and think, "Dang... I was pretty." And you never realize it till it's gone, which is pretty sad, actually. But what I meant to say was this: you are absolutely lovely.
