David Haye was a absoululte legend and i supported him from day one . If your into boxing or combat sports in general this guy was a real gladiator . Super high boxing iq and outstanding movment and impeccable timing. What he has actualy achieved in the sport is insane and how he managed against a huge era in size of heavyweights was spectacular . He pushed his body to places beyond even the fittest athletes. He demanded a lot from his body . Speed . Power. Explosivness. Variable speed fibers . Camp after camp . He dominated a very very very tough cruiser weight division and beat many ped cheats and nullified there dirty tactics . He smashed his way through huge heavyweights. Imo wlad cheated in every way agaisnt Haye . Peds . Mattress like ring . Strange glove demands . Extra height on his shoes which made the height gap even worse . But thats all the past and most recently bellew no disrespect won but only on the timing again imo as a body can only take so much over such a long period of time at peak performance. He also had personal issues like all of us but as i think he is a nice guy they effected him more . Again speculation. I just wanted to say thanks from a fabs point of view for decades of elite performances . Enjoy retirement. Was half hoping for a shannon finally to get briggs a final pay day more than anything..not that shannon is anywere near the same class but just to gelp a old man out . Rate haye for helping blackwell out after his problems and 100s of other things . Also nice motor i got a beat up motor at the min but its great to see you winning champ . I salute you gladiator . As a fight fan I believe David's cruiserweight victory over Mormeck puts him at arguably second best cruiserweight of all time behind Evander Holyfield.Saw him box in Belfast in the world amateurs and he was very exciting.Hears good things about him first hand.Good luck to him and well done.
